It is not its own genre. You unread welp. Hence all of the artists making efforts to speak Jamaican patwah in their music like Burna Boy and Wizkid and them sampling Dancehall riddims in order to make Afrobeats ones. If you don't know about something don't speak on it. There's nothing pure about it. It's not Jazz, Hip-hop, or RnB... Afrobeats is a knockoff genre like Reggaeton. Which is simply Spanish Dancehall. Afrobeats is African Dancehall. Give props boy.
