Week 73 it’s a LPI be affair when buying a used boat, who loves the boat more the new owner or the seller, it’s why most boats never sell the old boat owner loves his boat more then everyone else. Boat buying market is brutal out there and very frustrating and expensive when looking at these boats.

The good deals on boats, the cheep fixer uppers on Craigslist sell pretty quick, I'm always looking and noticed that, there was a 28 foot sailboat here in st Augustine 1500 bucks, was sold in 3 days, a lot of guys at the marina saw it too and was contemplating buying it hahaa.....Daytona last month I saw a 25 grand Luhrs because one of the diesels smoked too much

I just painted a family member house due to them not being able to do it. I had not purchased paint in a long time. The days of buying a house and putting a cheap coat of paint to make the house look great are over. I was totally shocked at the cost with no labor cost. I am sure Marine paint is crazy high now. Three K for a wax job though makes me wonder what kind of wax did they use, lol. Great vlog.

Surveyors charge way too much, 2 of them ripped me off, one was so bad I got my money back then it was the insurance guy's buddy so he refused to sell me insurance because that surveyor was his good buddy ....

If you don't get the oxidation off of the hull on the Ranger it will look great with wax for about a week.

The Blue Max looks like a nice boat, why has it sold so many times in the last two to three years? I remember seeing for sale from the original owner, guy bought it and in less then a year it was back for sale, now the new owner who just bought it last year is selling it already. And the asking price has dang near doubled since original owner sold it. Boat is lined out with out riggers, boulbous bow and such, just wondering why it’s changed owners so many times recently

@@NoRegretsLifestyle yes we all want bigger, I bought a 1972 GB36 in March in the PNW, passed on a GB42 in San Diego for same number just cause it was to far away from where I wanted to be, and rear cabin wasn’t set up like I wanted. Kinda wish I went with the 42 now just for the extra room and that aft shower. But this 36 is working out fine, and love the boat and living full time on the water.
