If you ever watched WKRP and had a stomach ache right after the show. You just enjoyed the best twenty or so minutes of prime time tv. Hands down! From a Die hard Fan!

Baily, Venus, and Travis freaking out at Les identifying the dropping objects as turkeys, while Johnny didn't bat an eye was hilarious!

The clip at 2:20 is replaced music because of copyright issues. The true song in the original airing was The Long Run by the Eagles. And it fit more to the sequence then that generic song… UGH…🤨

This show is THIS 58 year old's BEST memories of Junior High in Columbus Ohio! - I also got that poster of Lonnie Anderson from Spencer Gists that oil the other neighborhood guys got. That big fat bat story that Lester tells is a Stan Freberg story from the Time for Beany puppet show. A GREAT story.

The greatest thing about the "Turkey Incident" is that, I guess, it was based on a true incident. Fact is always weirder than fiction.

Yes, but farm turkeys can't...at least not when shoved out of a helicopter.

It's hard to believe that Les is only around 40yrs old in these videos!
@TheJFGB93 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, both his and Fever's actors were about 37 or 38 when the show started. Gordon Jump (Mr. Carlson) was only 46.

@@TheJFGB93 it's strange to have watched this in the 80s with my Mom when I was a young kid and think that I'm older now than they were on the show. I'm pushing the big guy's age!
