WLTOYS 104072 Speed Runs | First Passes on 4S

I think this WLtoys 104072 Street Basher Truck definitely has what it takes to get over 100kph, but on the stock Street Tyres that it comes with, traction is a Major Issue! Next time I take it out I will see if my Foam wheels fit with no issue clearing the C-hubs like some other tyres and wheels I tried already.
Any suggestions on some good wheels that fit, leave a comment below 👍

Thanks Dan, definitely had traction issues as the stock tyres are garbage at anything over 80kph. Will see how it goes when I find a set that will fit without being too small for the truck. 😎👍🍻

It looks just as hard to drive as my HSP Flying Fish on 3-4s, insane power and just won't stay straight😅 Yeah foams should help a little👌

Yeah man the stock tyres are rubbish at anything over 80kph. I tried fitting a couple different sets of wheels before hand but they didn't clear the C-hubs so have to try some other options.

Nice video. I was going to put those tires on my 124017 street brasher custom. Too bad they come pre-glued or one could add duck tape to reduce tire ballooning. I, too, haven't been able to find 70 to 75mm on-road tires, there are some rally tires. Let me know if you do find something.

I'll be honest mate, i haven't even bothered to setup the lights, but you could make it work by using the typical 3 wire receiver black plugs i guess and set it to a 3rd or 4th channel on the receiver.

a splitter and maybe a small wing on top might give it the downforce needed to grip

great video, but i'm not found of this expensive Wltoys. I found a 1/14 drift rc truck on Aliexpress which could be the cheapest brushless RC drift 1/14 (80$). It's called "Kmoist 0320-G". Can you review it please ?

@@PERTHWESTOZRC it’s always the way I’ve got plenty of cars and over had a chance to do any at the moment more building than running. I’m gonna get one of these and put a 5900 KV in it stock gears three or 4S foamsjust camber and tow thicker fluids 120 amp EC or I might just do what you did keep the stock motor change the ESC remote receiver of course foams they go pretty good

Yeah I had it only set to around 10% I find gyro messes me up when speed running if I have it set too high. I prefer running without it tbh. Made no difference anyways as the tyres are the issue on this car as soon as I hit full throttle 😆👍
