The difference in the 27 vs 28 is in the diffs. The 27 is actually the later model with metal diffs.

Hiya. Yeah I heard that but without the other car it's hard to confirm. I have also heard those who bought a 12428 received a 12427 and vise versa which is crazy. Wish they had called it the 12427-B 😂😜 Thanks for the info. Wishing you a fantastic day today! 😊👍🏼

9:36 the middle drive shaft is also bent, but that’s not a problem tho, probably just take it out and hammer it back straight, just another point I want to make. This cat is really impressive for the price, I’ve been wanting it since like 4 years ago and I might actually buy it I’m the coming holiday lol

Soy feliz poseedor de dos unidades, y recientemente he comprado un ejemplar de su hermano mayor, el 10428 (me está dejando igualmente impresionado). Con todo, también creo que si todos los aficionados votaran cuál sea el coche rc más icónico de todos los que han conocido, imagino que dirían que el 12428. (sería una gran encuesta a realizar). La encuesta sería de elegir el coche más equilibrado, el coche que no es el mejor en nada, no es el más rápido, no es el más barato, no es el mas bello, ni tan siquiera el más fiable. Pero, si sumas todos los puntos en general, seguramente será el que más puntuación obtendrá, o casi.

Hello John,I hope you Colin and the rest of your family are well. I just have a question for you if you don't mind. I have a wltoys 124017v2 and I'm looking to buy some shock oil,but when I went to order it,I was given 7million options for the weight. I honestly don't have a clue ,so please could you recommend me what to get.i just use it for "normal bashing " not Kev Talbot style but more like what you do. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers mate all the best

Hiya. Yes for me I have 250 cst. 500 and 750. In wltoys I aim for 500 cst. Its the middle of the bunch and gives good support while allowing decent ride over gravel. Hope that helps. 😉👌

Is it more for ' serious ' racers? all the different weights and someone like me wouldn't notice the difference or is it quite obvious? @@davidmellish3295 shock oil and differential oil can make a huge difference in performance. Whether we could notice so much on our wltoys in not sure. But on professional racing rc it's a huge difference. 😉👌

This Biggy is way stronger than the new wltoys lines (144001, 124016, 124017....) I swear they dropped the quality on purpose. The plastic on this buggy is super flexible and tough, my 124017 plastic is fragile, i already snapped something on my first run

Yeah I think the 124017 etc is designed to be stronger due to the speed. The 12427 can be more flexible as it's more of a basher. But it's hard to argue with you on the quality grip. Wltoys rc from 2 years ago for sure seem stronger!

@@JohnRobinsonRC true. I think the new buggy needs more rigid plastic (thus snaps easier) for speed. But I think everyone agrees that the quality of the overall product has improved immensely.

lil monsters! i replaced the front suspension link arms with extra internal spring dampers I had so uses both sets, this improved the rebound feel no end,and mounted longer rear oil dampers to the rear with the rear upper mounted to the uppermost part of the frame with zipties, looks mint and even handles better.Oh I also cut the rear downward pointing part of the frame off to stop it catchingon things.I think you may have broke the flat internal plate the front dampers bolt to, thats only thing cracked on mine in a lot of hard use.

Great cheapish RC. I gave mine away because my rc garage was making me feel a bit guilty. (In double figures!) But always rated it as a good basher. Best regards to you and your family John.

Destructibility test.. Very dissapointed John. Was hoping for some insane damage. But it proves the point mate.. I know some more expensive branded vehicles that cant take that...

Yes I did expect the thing to come apart like Lego.... 😉😉 Must try harder! Back to the abandoned hotel I think! 😁😁😁👌 This is why I think wltoys are so popular. They are punching well above their price tag. If they could only be consistent and put grease in the diffs! 😂😂😂😉
