Best of both worlds, Crater is an analog/digital hybrid bass drum module for eurorack modular synthesizers that plays as hard as it kicks.
In this video we explore the sound architecture, fetures, and functions of Crater. We cover how to use the Sustian feature, why you would want to sequence 1V/oct on a kick drum, and make a ton of sounds with the manual controls as well with CV.

Got my crater today and spent some time with it. What a module!!! Definitely the hardest kick I've played with. Certainly harder than my jomox. Just superb for hard techno. I'm now a wmd fan for life.

Bravo wmd, Crater does more than I knew I wanted in a very small footprint (less work than that is being done by more modules than I would like to admit. ) Is becoming a very very compelling system u guys are developing there....

Sure wish my Modbase09 had that layering thing this does. But nothing sounds bigger than a Jomox (or takes up more space lol) Well done on this WMD! Very versatile and looks really quick to dial in a great kick

regarding the layering thing.. the noise/pulse/metalizer thing on the Jomox pales in comparison to the layer the crater does.

You Guy Are killing it With these modules!!!! Thinking of Selling off My entier rack to get this Setup ... All those module sound like they descended from the heavens to smack the music seen. wish I could afford them all . I was struggling to choose between Fracture and Chimera as my first WMD drum module. I only realised his one existed this week and ordered immediately. The other two are still great but this one..,.
