Oh the memories of playing this at the underground arcade in the city back in 2005 - 2006. I had $8 spare per week after paying my bills and bus fair and I would get a good 4 - 5 hours in every Friday night after Uni. I miss hearing "Cao ni ma!" screamed at me. Black R32 all day. Good times!

But that's the point of the competition. You have to be aggressive and do what it takes to win. There are no rules regarding to no blocking. If everyone is just gonna play "clean" why not just make the tournament base on setting TA times?

@harrislam2 жыл бұрын
You are challenging the very core of the mechanics in this game. I can guarantee you that all 4 of these guys can race in that track within 1 second to world record time. The winner of a clean race wouldn't be determined through clean racing skills (or if you dare, even include removing the runner-up boost), it would be determined by who happens to get ahead after the first turn.

Clean driving for Luder and Japan. Congratulations Luder for representing the country. I like your attitude ' do my best for the country' hope everyone in our country is like that. For us you are the champion!
I've seen those hate comments against brake blocking, and I just want to address that I think you can use "any" tactic that you have on your arsenal, as long as it doesn't brake the rules of the game/ competition. Brake blocking is an extremely useful technique that can create or close distance by ramming other players into the wall. I saw some of those people commenting on this video's comment section, that came for different countries, with different cultures, trying to judge each other based on the players playstyles. sure some players play clean, but braking does also require specific skills to master.

The Japanese player was the most gentle of all.He reminds me of myself when I am playing with my Evo III from MT2 days. Picked the Evo III cos it is my only favourite car when I used to watch Initial D and no interest in bandwagon models but just interested in using a non-bandwagon to win battles. I also used an Evo VI but I was never satisfied just like when I use the Evo III. That feeling of using a non-bandwagon to beat the crap out of bandwagon models in battles is really satisfying! Took a 10 year break after 3DX and skipped 4 and 5.Recently started playing again.Still using my one and only car.No prizes for guessing my car. My car seems to be easy meat just like the FD when others see it but not so when you had mastered the car. The HK guy's mentality kinda win at all cost.I will feel ashamed if I had to win using his tactics.No glory but perhaps just being scorned by others. Even at the presentation,you can see the smug look in his eyes and rude to the person who tried to shake his hand. I had never played against Malaysian,Indonesian or HK players but SG players can also be as rough or even worse than them.Machine problems like steering wheel and gear sticks broken or loose seats are aplenty here. I once saw one late teenaged guy kicking the back of the seat where his friend was playing and I was wondering why on earth he has to do that. The reason is probably because the machines are not his and these goons think that they have a divine right to trash them. You will not catch me slamming the steering or gearsticks in my 17 years of playing.I always turn or shift gently. If Namco were to add a clutch pedal along with the brake and accel pedals,you see how many of these young goons can drift or get their TA times.

very old post but yah thats there tactics in hk&china . For each other they wont block or bang only if the first player crashes or slows down in turnings than the second can become 1st other then that whoever is second automatically becomes a blocker to slow others down or bang them to let the first win .
Took me a while to realize that there is English translation after Japanese spoken.

Y not u try it, u need hours to master these tactics and with ur knowledge of the map u can push them to a death corner. I feel ur all just salty bec u didnt put in the effort to learn these tactics n r angry bec others did n they used it on u
