WMMT6 & 6R Opening [Split-screen Comparison]

I just make a split-screen comparison between WMMT6 & WMMT6R.
As usual Bandai Namco use the same old MT6 opening video but just changed the logo from MT6 to MT6R logo at the end to the video.
Right : WMMT6 Opening released on 18 June 2018
Left : WMMT6R Opening released on 12 March 2021

6RR used the same opening movie, but the difference is that the wheels on Devil Z has changed to TE37, the car that joined Devil Z into the scene was Blackbird instead of R32, and obviously the game's logo.

That's definitely from Rays (Volk) Wheels. I think Maximum Tune's license with Watanabe Wheels was ended.

EDIT*: The development team has now fixed the opening movie by reverting Blackbird back to R32 during the scene where R32 joined Devil Z.

They are so stupid,they removed the rims that is from Devil z.The rims from the devil z is the same as the manga and the anime

Tbh im not really hyped out to 6r update since its just like simple patch/update to me. They should have added more features like new maps or few more cars added and make it 6dx instead of 6r

I agree....i just hope 5dx+ will keep running since my area dont have mt6 since the previous arcade already close down since last year august...currently 5dx+ is the only game available in my area...☹

I think Namco should've replace the "6" with "R" in 6R's opening instead just like what MT5 series opening does... oh well.

In manga or anime Wangan midnight devil z use wanatabe rims like in the opening and the anime the color in the anime is gray and in this game the color is orange

No news from Namco so no one knows. But i only just predict(maybe) that namco might announce bout 6R end of this year or next year?

If there was no covid pandemic, i predicted that it should release to us this year. But in todays situation its hard to tell when, but i guess it will come out after they officially end the 5dx+ servers which are still active upto now.
