Game is constantly releasing new versions, I don't think it will be released on PS4 unless NAMCO stops releasing another flagship game, just like Tekken 7.

Driving games are often big investments for arcade store owners and they wouldn't want a console/PC port that might chip away their income. Lobbying from store owners was what kept PS2 Initial D and Battle Gear from becoming multiplayer games. Also licensing issues for parts or auto makers could surface if they decide to port to mainstream consoles. I don't think WMMT will ever be ported.

@@ChoongieStudioONE After 100 chapters; you will get WMMT5; WMMT5DX and WMMT5DX+ bgm After passing another 100 chapters will get WMMT4; then WMMT3 BGM(Include WMMT3; WMMT3DX and WMMT3DX+) then WMMT1; WMMT2(Both are win together) and WMMTR So to get all BGM you will need to win 500 Chapters

Also, to make them to be in the nowadays console standards, the game needs a complete over-haul in the graphic core. It's not secret that Namco are using the ENMA engine... since 2009... So, in short words: A home-version of MaxiTuni, is impossible without re-made (not remake, but *re-made* ) the game from scratch.

Just rank-up with number of plate is 50-500-2500-5000-7500~ I'm trying to make sure it keeps getting right because it's a calculation compared with the Japanese National Division Match (全国分身対戦) We've confirmed up to 50-500. I will check 2500 because I have to pass 2500 to go to SSSSS.

I think the old part of story is a perfect ending, the new added story doesn't have an attracting challenger as old part. To be honest, sequel usually can't exceed the origanal one, we both know that, but I just feel little disappoint.
