There was like a 15-30min news segment done by ESPN a few years ago about using male players in practice in women's basketball. I believe they said the men tend to be quicker, stronger, and presents a challenge for the females. They usually use the JV team players, or bench players to practice with the women. It's sad and takes away from other ladies that play the game and need to practice to progress.
