My thoughts exactly. It seems like she was involved in every significant run the Sky had. Going back a few games now, that seems to be pretty consistent. I've only just started watching WNBA so I don't know how she compares to other scorers and playmakers in the league. It does seem though that she's pretty bad ass. I think they might be underutilizing her. (This all said, I hated the cheap shot on Clark a few weeks ago. Unnecessary.)

Dennis Rodman was never the star of his team. And Reese is nowhere near Dennis Rodman. She has the offensive skillset of Rodman, but shoots triple the shots he did. If she bought into the Rodman role of doing all the dirty work and bringing all the energy without needing to get up shots it might be better for the team in the win column. Get the offensive boards and then kick it out to teammates with a higher shooting percentage for the extra possession. Alot of her rebounds lead to a wasted extra possession with bad low percentage forced up putbacks.If a handful of those putback attempts went to teammates instead that might make the difference in close games

Offense needs a point guard to direct the offense. No guard to faciliate the offense. Chennedy will get hers but shooter needs to be free to shoot not running point. Ge the ball into the paint. lob it into Cardoso at least 20 times per game. 6 ft 7. Big girl would have a lot of touches because she needed touches...

Kamilla has got to be more aggressive. She jogs up the court, gets pushed out of position and doesn't guard anyone. Reese covers her man and goes out to cover the other teams guards on shots. You can say it. CC's not an elite defender, but CC has ten times more blocks than Angel's TWO blocks this season, and CC has 1.5 steals a game to Angel's 1.9. Angel is a 6-3 big and can't block a shot- maybe you shouldn't be talking about defense if you're an Angel fan.

They didn't recruit CC for defense folks. I rebound away from a triple double!!!! She accounts for 80% of fever scoring (assists and points). No CC...no wins, period. and another sold out arena. @@volfancp Dude Clark shot 4/14 from the field, and had nothing to do with the win down the stretch. Just take the W, and go home. Any player that's a liability like that on defense will only be a specialist in the league. There's a minimum that any great offensive player (which Clark is not a this point) needs to play to last in the league. Not being on the court is embarrassing, face it! As poorly as Reese played (the Lynx constantly swarmed her as a sign of respect), her All Star Olympian opponent Collier had a bad game as well. Just look at how low scoring the score was.

The Sky are in a Tough Spot. They Traded a King/Queen Ransom for a Guard that literally can't throw it in the Ocean. So rather I replace that guard with a better Defensive Player since this is a League where if you don't defend the 3, it's game over. We can't even tank for Paige Bueckers because Dallas has the Rights to swap picks with the Sky for next year.

Sky guard gets no respect from anyone. They can't shoot just looking for double doubles which will not win games. No jump shots, 3 pt attempts. Just dribbling the ball. It 's been like this for the guards since game 1....Distribute the ball set up plays for paint points drive and shoot. Defense just looks at them on the perimeter like whatever..

Double doubles (points/rebounds) don't mean squat for a big in a girl's game. Reese was 4-16 in shooting, so how many cheap rebounds did she get off her 12 missed shots. In addition, most of her 12 misses were off short shots, work on your shot girl!

@Appleatch Yeah. Lotta one on one from the guards. It worked earlier. However, when they started missing, their inability to get the ball to the front court players showed it's ugly head towards the end of the game.

She is pounding but never distributing. When she gets it she just goes. I think the center should get more touches but coach has Cardoso has a 3rd option. She has to get a rebound if she wants to score whereas she should be getting the ball inside. The is double, tripled teamed and can pass the ball.

Desde que Angel llegó a la liga la he observado y tiene un error en hacer su juego como pivot debajo del tablero.. Ella recibe y dribla .( Como una especie de adorno antes definir encestar) Alli pierde un segundo y dá oportunidad que la incomoden o la bloqueen... No entiendo como en una liga profecional no la han hecho correcciones.. Ella es la unica que he visto hacer ese movimiento innecesario y que la perjudica como centro y por supuesto al juego , porque es una casta segura y no la define en muchisimas oportunidades.. Tiene que dejar de hacer eso urgente !

Cordoza looks lost, sluggish & is not playing like she did under Coach Staley. She’s not boxing out, rebounding or playing aggressive enough. It’s like having a soft teddy bear under the goal. That’s not gonna get it in this league. Drop a few pounds to be lighter on your feet, less winded and more agile.

The rookie coach is the biggest problem but no one wants to say it. She needs to find a mentor to help her. Talent with a BAD coach is just a losing team. Coach should be held accountable. Center cannot dribble rebound and shoot Ball needs to go inside to the tallest player not using for 3rd option.

Exactly. but they want the help with the double double. Reese needs to rotate to different positions not just get the ball lower her head and bang. Look to pass or something else. Guards don't look for the center because they were taught to get the double double.

@Ohhhdwall Yes. Many times when they're open they don't get that ball, then they get it in worse spots where the defense can collapse or double team. That happened to Reese more so Cardoso just appeared to be not involved.

Hope Angel Reese adds more dimensions to her game. Float game, pull-up J, the occasional 3 and a decent handle. Not anything crazy. Right now, her game is mostly post-up and rebounds. She's playing like a C, instead of a PF

Aailyah Boston was not getting the Ball Fever was losing. Now they realize that the Center player has to touch the ball. Now they are winning. SKY center spends time just running up and down the court not being used. She is not getting touches. She get s 10 rebounds now they should help her get the 10 points by getting her the ball because she will score or get fouled. Either way it balances the game. Until they find away for the guard or whomever to get that ball inside to the tallets player, they will be known as the team with the Double Double and after awhile so what. You play to win as a team. Rotation, distribution, find some defense guards and look to shoot or distribute the ball correctly. A Center should not be the 3rd option coach. Fix it COACH..
