Thank you!! CLAXTON, CLAXTON, CLAXTON. I've been saying this for months. That is the dude they need to aim for. Almost a nightly double double with around 3.5 blocks per game. He doesn't need to score and he brings rebounds, blocks/rim protection. Claxton-5, Chet-4, Dub-3, Caruso or Dort-2, SGA-1.

Just cuz someone says it doesn't make it a good fit. The Thunder don't want to change their style, Claxton would require that. Chet is the 5. If you don't think that, you didn't watch them, you watched ESPN tell you what we should think as Thunder Fans

It’s crazy how we’ve improved the team so much just by flipping Giddey who we weren’t going to re sign anyway and who didn’t fit into the system. Like if Giddey did stay and our team stayed exactly the same I don’t think Giddey starts next season. And now we have one of the best defenders in the game. Next year with Dort and Caruso on the floor, teams are good to be very nervous because that’s your two best guys locked up on the perimeter. Chet is a shot blocking machine at the rim and Shai and J Dub are actually really good defenders in their own right even though Caruso on the floor will give them way more freedom to use their energy on offence. I’m curious who we’re going to draft now since we’ve got Shai, Caruso, Cason, Joe and Wiggins all eating up guard spots. Maybe we’ll get Shaq Edey 😁

@@bigbenji__ OKC likes to play 5 out because they're small. Val would just clog the paint with Chet. They need someone who can move faster, strech the floor and bring physicality. 2 centers in your lineup don't win you championships. Sadly the type of player that OKC needs is extremely rare and I don't seem them getting it. Maybe they'll try to bring it in the draft or they'll go for a guy who can play PF and C like Jalen Smith or Claxton but I don't think that will bring them a chip.

I'm fine not solving the big problems if they get another spacing c like holmgren so you have a clear defined playstyle. But ya ideally you go get someone like Lauri (who you won't grt lauri) but someone like that....that can space a bit dribble a bit and rebound. I hate the idea of bringing in a c that will clog the lane offensively. Jonas from the pels would make a bunch of sense and would be happy coming off the bench and would fit the offense when he plays alongside chet. Only concern with him is he csnt guard on the wing at all and will be targeted a bunch in the playoffs in pick and rolls whenever he's in.
