Great mix and interview! I noticed both guitars are going through JC-120s that are mic’d only on the right speaker. Those amps send the wet signal from the chorus exclusively through the right speaker, and they are meant to blend with the dry signal from the left speaker, but it’s kind of neat to see that they are taking advantage of that for their sound.

Love the entire session but omg they should've let Anton speak too😭 his old band the Depreciation Guild, even when they were not under Captured Tracks, was an integral part for Jack (Wild Nothing) as he was one of the supporting bands for the Guild in 2010! It's so awkward how he's already an official member but people seem to have zero idea who he is or simply ignore his lowkey brilliant history in the New York indie scene...
