Sydney Leroux is seriously hitting her stride. Pace, energy, vision...the list goes on. Great conversion on the penalty for Wambach as always. Her touches were impeccable in setting up others as well. When Wambach leaves (a sad day indeed) our offense is in good hands. Leroux, Morgan, Press...that's a triple threat if ever I saw one. Tymrak looks promising for us as does Brooks. And I too think Lloyd is overly criticized. Her ball movement and distribution had the Brazilians tripping over their own shoes.

US WMNT played their game, almost no errors. Brazil team made many unnecessary defensive and attacking errors, had their attackers made the normal choices and actions in front of the US goalie could have been easily equal on the scoreboard. That's the worrying aspect.

I wasn't surprised to see WNT showing no mercy to Brazil Sunday. Brazil's team was young with tremendous talent, and their possession was effective throughout the game, but the team needs to strengthen their defense more. Leroux was too good for them. :)

Also, I should state that I only watched the first half, as I changed to the Broncos/Chargers NFL game at halftime, which was joined in progress B/C the Ravens/Bengals games went into OT (which was the reason why I could watch the entire first half to begin with), and where I live, CBS wasn't legally obligated to switch games.

I was really impressed by Amber Brooks. She looked so comfortable out there.

Maybe she's not a 100% (ankle injury) but Morgan needs to shoot the ball quicker when she has an open net. This is like a third time (that I've seen) when she decides to stop her momentum before she shoots the ball. At this time, I think Leroux is playing better than Morgan.

Well, this is home friendly match for USWNT. Let none of you Yankee ladies expect Brazilians to play like this in Canada 2015. You gals are going to see another form of Brazilian soccer graduates with intimidating tactics and skills. Hope Solo was really in good shape to stop those dangerous moves by the Brazilians which could had been tie the score to 4-4. Brazil lost this one but US women should watch it closely. I always said " It's not going to be easy in Canada 2015" Good Luck to both teams.

Since I'm the first to comment, I'll be the first to state the obvious; If Marta and Formiga were playing in this game, the results more than likely would had been completely different. It really sucks that European women's club soccer, unlike the men's, can't just shut down their leagues and tournaments for friendlies. Like, am I the only one that felt weird that HAO was taking CKs? Like, how come Lauren Holiday (nee Cheney) didn't play in this game?

94PaulyD you must remember other countries like us aren't as fortunate to have training before games such as friendlies as said during the game Brazil only had two days of training while USA has had weeks of training and games prior. Right now club football has more to offer in terms of women's because their is no qualifying yet. Summer you had the women's euros to watch where we saw teams on point. But I agree we have knocked out everyone even Japan the team who was supposedly the best

Why can't these teams ever play this poorly against us in major tournaments? We can beat the stuffing out of teams like Brazil, Canada, Sweden, Japan, China, and France in friendly matches, but if it's the World Cup or the Olympics, it's a nailbiter from start to finish.
