I stumbled over the Letterman performance of this song and I thought it was great. This is a slightly cleaner video that concentrates solely on the performance of the song. The haunting guitar melody running throughout, the clean harmonies and the crisp vocals stopped me in my tracks. Very good! Now some of you may get caught up in the length of Sean's hair, his girlfriend, whether they are modern-day hippies, the symbolism in other videos of this song.. Who cares! This sounds great!

I had this album on my want list for some time as I was looking for "psychadelic revival" type stuff (finally have it now) and recently heard Sean on Neil deGrasse Tyson's Star Talk Radio show because he's an erudite science enthusiast. I didn't make the connection between the two until recently. Man I *love* the internet!

This song and jardin du luxembourg are my favorite by GOASTT! They make a great pair! Musically and otherwise. I'm sure Sean has always had a chip on his shoulder. I think with or without his last name he's still be rocking like he is right now!

Well, I'm on a classical music forum wherein we talk enthusiastically about the virtues of W. F. Bach and C.P.E. Bach as compared with their better known dad, Johann Sebastian Bach and they all died something like 250 years ago -- all great musicians and all have their individual flavors, but comparison is inevitable. You may have to just live with human nature.

Watching C. Kemp Muhl play bass - although she’s opted to wrap her thumb around the neck, rather than bracing it behind the neck which would give her fingers more strength and speed, although she’s not alone, I’ve seen seasoned pros make her same choice - it’s clear from her fingering that she knows what she’s doing. I’m impressed, lots of famous pretty people just pick up an instrument one day and half-ass it and everyone tells them they’re great … she seems to have taken the time to actually learn the instrument and put in her hours practicing!

Sean is way better now with GOASTT and Delirium compared to his previous albums. 1998 Into the Sun 2006 Friendly Fire ...incl those he made with Cibo Matto. Sean has musically matured. Great!

+Alex Souza I liked "Midnight Sun", but I think "Acoustic Sessions" is an absolute masterpiece. Every song is beautiful and unique, unlike any other music out there.

+Robin Befumo I didn't like Midnight Sun that much. Sometimes a listen to a couple of songs from it but if it was the first record I listened to, I am sure I'd not have followed the band. It's really a pitty. I hope they go back to acoustic or something at some point.
