Plat the game today, this fight brought back old dynasty warriors ptsd where Lu bu just shows up and you fail the mission just cause he’s there, I love this fight.

Gotta admit it’s kind of weird not hearing the phrase “Don’t pursue Lu Bu” while Lu Bu is onscreen.

Love how "fair" he feels. No big gimmicky, hard-to-track tentacles, teleporting, or whatever. Just very learnable patterns that reward paying attention. Actually less frustrating than half the monsters to this point. A true duel!

No joke, literally any game I play that has Lu Bu in it as a boss fight, I ALWAYS get folded up more times than I can keep count of. This man lives in my nightmares, rent and mortgage and bill free.

One of the most amazing encounters ever faced in a video game! During the fight, everytime a do a series of deflects I get so fking hyped. It feels so good.

This isn't a fight, it's a dance. There's such a wondrous flow once you're familiar with his attack patterns that you get so immersed. I kept soloing him until I won, and I was dripping sweat lmfaooo this was such a good boss fight.

I am a big fan of Lu bu and was shocked when I knew that he is appearing in the Wo Long game . this game is sooooo good

One of the satisfying boss fights in recent years, I love this fight.

Wow, what a fight. Took me an hour and about 8-10 tries but always felt like I was getting closer and learned how to evade/deflect something new each time. Never got frustrated and was having more fun each try.

I just beat him after close to 20 tries. I put it off for a week and came back and just set my mind to it. His attacks are very learnable which is the biggest saving grace to this fight. Trying to do it with the NPC help though was too annoying they just love it when he kills them so I opted to learn him and beat him solo. He’s really not THAT difficult when you learn his attacks and just stick to punishing his unblockables. This video definitely made him look easier than he feels when it yourself against him lol.

LuBu is my favorite all time character no matter what game, movie, show or art he is in! Always OP

Of all bosses I've fought in every Soulsborne, Sekiro, and Nioh none have made me feel quite as intimidated as Lu Bu.

I remember my first time getting to this part of the game while playing with a homie. He has never played Dynasty warrior, I on the otherhand have played alot and remember Hulao gate. I was hysterically telling my friend we have to play extremely passive and learn his move set. Telling him Lu Bu in every other game is the Giga Chad you run away from. Because if he is anything like the Lu Bu from DD we are fucked. Which he was... My friend didnt listen and got instant killed shortly after. Took us over 20 tries to beat him. I love how every game that includes Lu Bu makes him an absolute beast and nightmare to play against.

The moment I saw him enter the frame, the Record of Ragnorok fan inside of me lit up with joy. Such a cool boss and historical figure, man.

Lu Bu was honestly the best teacher for me in this game, the game until this point felt tough but fairly easy to overcome, I didn't rely overmuch on deflection and just dodged (Dark Souls habit), but then this fight comes along and I HAVE to get better at deflection otherwise I miss so many openings against him, he alone forced me to change my style to suit the game rather than the cookie cutter "Dodge all" mentality most Soulslike seemingly allow. I took so many Ls that day, and the next, and a little on the after... But once I proceeded, I deflected a LOT more.

I wish so bad I was good enough to beat this guy. Swear I’m not even getting close after 30 tries. I’ve had trouble with some other bosses along the way, but this guy I barely breathe on before he sends me to the after life.

They remembered that he also an archer? Respect to developers for that. He usually depicted as pure melee brute

When doing this solo, he legit can two-shot you in the first few seconds of the fight. A tip for anyone still attempting this fight, while Lu Bu is on the ground, whenever Red Hare runs by you, you can parry him to reduce your meter.

I feels like Lu Bu pattern somewhat resemble souls type games, and player can heal at any chance is also one of them

I liked Wo Long. Very nice fluid combat. I can understand people giving bad reviews cause of the technical issues but the ones who can't get good need to learn the game. I always rock a halberd and twin swords but only using swords for bosses cause their parry window is slightly more forgiving than the halberd or other 2 handed weapons.

Evrybodues talking about how easy it is to counter his attacks but istg I’ve tried him over 20 times and I can’t even get the timing right half the time on his human attacks when he’s not on his horse, I get his horse attacks every time, what am I doing wrong??
