I have just watched your story about the grief of losing your sister, it blows me away when something just pops up when you need it as that episode has today, your quotes were so very good to hear and I am sure as time goes on I will reflect back on them. I am broken at the moment because we lost our son and my other children's brother, he was 48 but was physically and mentally still a child, he had a few words and was in a wheel chair, he wasn't normal , didn't lead a normal life but he was happy and very much loved. He was my baby and got his wings on the 20th of February. I have seen how you made it through so I know I will too. Thank you so much.

When we went to visit our son in CO, he lived on the second floor of a building. He had an outside porch, that had beautiful views of the mountains, and he and his girlfriend (now wife) got a chocolate Labradoodle. I saw a 12" square of plastic turf on his porch, and stepped on it with my bare feet. I asked why he only had a small piece, and he busted out laughing, because IT WAS FOR HIS DOG TO DO HIS BUSINESS ON!!! Now, whenever I see fake green turf, I have PTSD, caused by the trauma of my son, who I labored over 30 hours before delivering, would set me up like he did! I got back at him, because I walked right into his apartment, without washing my feet!! Bahaha!

HI Kim, Can you believe I have never been to a Cosco!!!! That greenhouse is amazing. It would be my outdoor she-shed. I would do my crafts in there and hang a few plants but It would be amazing. Pet friendly is usually for the ones that are allergic to grass & insects that bite( fleas/ ants) & it’s easy to clean after they do their business. I used to have a dog that was allergic to grass. Btw I love your channel, you have such an upbeat personality, I love it.

Umbrellas: we have had them pull out of the base a fly while open toward the street!! This is dangerous! So we paid more for the 3 tiered umbrellas . The wind blows and it won’t take the umbrella away because of the slits.

i love plants. they do filter the air for you too. the robin's egg chocolate eggs are best but i never see them, they have a candy shell. the kind Costco has is just chocolate.

I found this really good slow cooker chicken recipe and made it yesterday....super easy and really tasty. Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Ingredients For the Chicken: 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce 1/3 cup honey 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 teaspoons chili paste sambal oelek, sriracha, or hot sauce of choice 4 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 2 tablespoons cornstarch For Serving: Prepared brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice Toasted sesame seeds Chopped green onion Instructions 1. Place the chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. 2. In a medium mixing bowl or very large measuring cup, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, chili paste, garlic, and rice vinegar. Pour over the chicken. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer. If you are available, flip the chicken over once halfway through to coat both sides. (If not, don’t stress; it will still be tasty.) 4. Remove the chicken to a plate and let cool slightly. Whisk the cornstarch into the slow cooker cooking liquid. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally. If you'd like the sauce particularly thick, you can cook it for a full 30 minutes in the slow cooker OR follow the stovetop method below. For quicker sauce thickening, reduce the sauce on the stove: After whisking in the cornstarch, transfer the cooking liquid to a medium saucepan. Cook on the stovetop over medium heat, stirring often until the sauce thickens, 5 to 10 minutes. (If your slow cooker insert is stovetop safe, you can remove it from the slow cooker and place it directly on the burner, but do not do this unless you are POSITIVE your insert is stovetop safe or it may crack.) 5. With two forks (or your fingers if the chicken is cool enough), shred the chicken and place it in the slow cooker. If you reduced the sauce on the stove, add it back to the slow cooker now. Stir to coat the chicken with the sauce. Serve over rice, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.
