This is amazing work - i used to love doing this in legacy, got accused a few times over it lol. Nothing like unloading a 60 round AKM into tight corridors like Scarface and laughing manically as they drowned in ricochets. EDIT: Btw i would like to add that if the game still functions like it did back then, metal surfaces are best for reflects - correct me if i am wrong good sir scientist.

All that’s left for these devs to do us improve the graphics and some glitches and this games a master piece.

Thumbnail made me think this was going to be a humorous video showing how bad the bullet physics are in this game with bullets squiggling down hallways, but I was tricked into watching a really cool video.

8/10, I couldn't recall the CZ's caliber at the time (So it was a 50/50, got tails), FAL was easy do to the amount of energy that round spits out (in relation to the target, ovs), the pistol was a ringer, and afterwards you couldn't fool me with the SVD. All-in-all, interesting video.

Hey, during your livestream you should test if you can penetrate floors to shoot people on upper floors. One of the buildings you should test is the industrial bird box building to see if you can shoot the people on the roof. But outside of that definitely military buildings.

I absolutely NEED more specificity. What about shooting on a downward or upward angle? What about shooting in single vs double mode with the blaze for long range shots? Is the single more accurate? Does the zero of the scope hold true no matter how far the shot? Standing vs crouching vs prone effect on accuracy given the shot was taken on target with the correct range accounted for? I NEED a sniper video. Out of all the great videos you have why don't you have one dedicated to sniping? How about dedicated videos for each sniper rifle not just the vss? Love the content but I NEED more. Thank you kind sir for you are "the man".

I got 7! I could tell on the last 2 by the inflection of your voice haha. Awesome video, I wish the path of the bullet showed speed by changing color along the line like that mod in ARMA3 that does the same thing more or less.

Literally my experience with cars. When my cousin, best mate and myself started playing day z console for the first time and played on vanilla. After figuring out how to navigate, many days and many deaths, We finally all go to each other. We ended up getting some pretty darn good loot together and had the worst gear fear. We end up travelling away from the most high traffic areas with a goal to find and build a car and we did. After a-couple days and hours of running around. We finally put together a working car. I don’t even think it was 5 mins of being in the car. Ended up going little bit faster than 60 and all of a sudden. We all started frame glitching, rubber banding, flipping many times and even air born until we were met with the black screen of death. They really have to fix that SH*T. It’s safe to say I took a long break after that. Like cmon. It even happens on low pop servers whilst playing a ps5. Cars WILL get you killed either by crashing or giving your position away. You’re better off running.

Towards the end of the stream it become apparent how much time the devs put intro ballistics. “Oh yea, the 9mm should be able to go through a house”

I'm actually glad that wind DOESN'T affect bullet physics. If you ever played ARMA 2 ACE, you'll know how complex that shit is, yet despite being "realistic" it ends up just feeling like RNG.

7/10. Real bullets would act somewhat differently than in dayz. But with experience and watching your video, I understand why the differences from real to dayz.

Ah 6 of the 10 but im so new to the game I originaly thought that there was no such physic realism in the game, just thought that it was hitscan just recalculated with the distance and speed of the opponent. I surely underestimated that beautiful game !

No wonder the game server dies when many people play. This kind of server side math seems to be related to the overall performance issues. All of this is really cool, but these things are overkill. The performance issues are also related to all objects in the world needing to be separate and semi interactive.
