I am also from South Africa and I love both Maya and Marwa. I have been following Maya when he was in China. Through Maya's channel I got to know the African continent better . I enjoy Marwa's travels all over the world. I regard them as African Brands who are are making us proud. Keep on doing the good work and ignore all the negativity from the viewers.I think its the viewers who started this beef between these 2 wonderful African brothers.Keep on educating us about our world.✌✌✌✌

@@wrLight Just to begin with, the guy on reference here has nothing or is not in any way singing that Africa to world jingles and he is up for the real street stories and happenings all over the world not just in Africa and Africans. Everyone has his own story to tell and to learn from. You check out similar videos with the woda Maya ones done by other KZfaqrs, eg just search the mundari tribe of S. Sudan and see who first pioneered thee etc

I would love to see a couple channel. I enjoy the separate channel and I will also enjoy a couple channel to see their life together behind the lens. There are so many niches on youtube and I would not be mad at them for catering to another audience. It will not be for everybody who already follows them and that is not a problem at all. The problem is when viewers want to keep them in a box and stop them from expanding, exploring and exploiting other avenues. There will get haters watching only to find something to criticise, it comes with the territory. And if they get sponsors because family content has a very different audience, they can be set for life and I am all about that. Many youtubers have become family and couples channel because there is an audience and I have seen many content creator who have started solo but since they get more views when their families are involved they became a family channel.

I think what Wode Maya said was needed because it brought clarity for those who made a judgement call due to an emotional stagged video by a female. Sometimes you need to make one statement and then leave that issue on the table. I like Dee and I was very disappointed in her. I have also watched Dee's brothers, however, what they did was wrong; most viewers saw through that mess, but a lot of people chose to believe a lie. Lies have caused people to lose their life, marriage, job, children, and more. Wode Maya produced receipts showing that Dee and Marwa benefited by using his name in their videos, and they also increase their ads (revenue stream). If they were in California, they probably would have been sued for defamation of character. We live in a very litigious (eager to sue someone or something in a court of law) society. Hopefully, all will learn and operate differently going forward. As Wode Maya's star gets bigger and brighter he will have to deal with more of this nonesense. I hope and pray that Maya stays humble, focused, and passionate about the mission. The best is yet to come. Excellent Interview!!

Maya is on the right path. There is no need for a couples video. There is an American KZfaq couple (husband is from Kenya and wife is Korean) and they are separated and headed for divorce. The husband listed in his recent video some things that caused a breakdown in their marriage like a lack of balance as it relates to KZfaq and their family, and cultural differences. I like their videos together and separate, and it saddened me when a marriage ends. You can check out James' videos (Just James = KZfaq name); his wife, Lilly has a channel called "Lilly Petals", which includes their two daughters. Lilly had her channel first. KZfaq can be like reality television, bad for a marriage. In the US, a number of reality personalities' marriages have ended because of reality television demands and a lack of balance in the marriage. Sometimes, it best not to put too much of your business or your family business in the KZfaq space.

So Marwa started travelling because he was denied the extension of his English teaching visa but Wode Maya decide to leave his job in China to travel through Africa and promote Africa... b) As I said I watched both of them from almost the beginning and strongly supported them ...even though I could see the difference...Since I am in a developed country with a high CPM (Cost per 1,000 impressions ) ...I supported them by watching all the ads of their videos...When I am busy working on my computer...I mute the volume of the videos let all the ads play...and focus on my work...to help them make money.... c) I am not a Ghanaian ...I am not a Kenyan neither...but honestly, Wode Maya and Marwa are not in the same league...I know what I am talking about....When you watch Marwa's livestreams you can see how easily trolls can trap him with tricky questions...he has no filter...even though some of his smartest supporters are telling him don't answer those questions...he cannot even notice that they are helping him.. d) What he did to Wode Maya...he did the same thing to his own girlfriend at the time...He ran to Instagram to expose her as evil...the girl left him...and few weeks later he came to the same Instagram to tell the same audience how he missed her etc...What a joke! e) I am not a fan club of any human being...I am for justice, honesty, fairness and I hate jealousy..lies....After Marwa and his sister attacked Wode Maya like that...I decided not to support Marwa anymore FOR NOW (maybe in the future again)...I watch very few of his videos now...and when I watch one I just skip the ads... The sister... I did even watch her before...I just noticed through videos suggestions that she started getting more views when she started posting videos like " my Italian boyfriend"...Many curious Kenyans wanted to see it...Ironically the so-called boyfriend's video titles were like " a Kenyan or African girl want to be my girlfriend"... I remember at some point Wode Maya and Marwa had almost the same number of subscribers...See where Wode Maya is today... A large number of African youtubers are now using Wode Maya name in the title of their videos (or simply making videos about him) to get viewers and subscribers... I also remember during one of Marwa's livestreams when he was in the Philippines....someone commented that Wode Maya just reached 500k subscribers...and Marwa said he will also reach 500k soon after he tours some African countries ...because, as he said, youtubers get more subscribers from their continent of origin.. He went to Africa and travelled with his then girlfriends through Kenya, South Africa, Mozambique, Tanzania etc...he has not even reached 300k subscribers yet (he still in the 200s something while Wode Maya is now in the 800s something)...Clearly, his intention was not ...to promote Africa ...but to get subscribers....
