As a European I totally agree, it's always best for natives to tell their own story. Unfortunately some documentaries I've seen from Africans have (very) low production quality like audio issues. That's probably a question of budget. Hopefully that'll improve soon. KZfaqrs themselves can make it happen.

Wode Maya, You inspired me to go to Africa. For the first time in my life I made it to Gambia at 40. I am so grateful. I finally felt at home. And I was born in the U.S. I also visited one of the hotels you showed on your channel. It was beautiful. I actually cried when came back to U.S. thats how much of an impact it was to visit Africa. My entire stereotypical ideas of Africa changed when I migrated to the UK from the Caribbean. I came from a warm, friendly, island where everyone is each other's keeper and look out for each other....to the biggest culture shock of my life. I met some amazing people Ghanians and South Africans as colleagues, the care and love is amazing, like family'. Big up to Africa; amazing culture, delicious food and warm hearted people.

Ethiopian Airlines is the bomb!! I wish they flew to Morocco though. I took Air France to Morocco and they lost my luggage. Had to return to the airport several times to retrieve my stuff. Never had that problem with EA during multiple trips. Nice to see you two having fun and traveling together for the first time. Rwanda is definitely on my bucket list.
