Are you sure it is this Agnus Dei? I did not find it listed in the soundtrack for the movie but rather the Agnus Dei by Knut Nysted in his Missa Brevis Op. 102

I do not why, but this beautiful music scare me a lot. Maybe because is precise as a scalpel in the hands of a neurosurgeon, cold and dark? It is like the picture of afterworld. Something like the paintings of other "bad dreamer" from Poland - Zdzislaw Beksinski. But we are the nation deeply touched by a lot of traumas. The most horrible national trauma is the Warsaw Uprising - 63 days of stubborn fight for death, not for life, the terrible death of hundreds of thousands of people and the equally terrible death of the capitol city. We remember! It is in us! And the dead is still present for Poles in their world. That's why you can always meet a lot of people on cemeteries. The cementaries are not the forbiden zone, but they are the integral part of the world of living. Place when the world and afterworld are still meeting... This music is definitely Polish because it touch to this special place of polish soul where is the room for the dead. For our dead who are still with us...

Nie wiem dlaczego, ale mnie to przeraża. Może dlatego, że to muzyka jakby z zaświatów - precyzyjna jak skalpel w ręku chirurga, zimna i mroczna?

Co myślisz o Bogu przedstawionym w tym utworze? Dla mnie to interpretacja starotestamentowa

@@magdalenakozowska5049 Nie wiem, ale sam utwór jest dla mnie przerażający w tym sensie, że wymyka się zdecydowanej definicji. Jest jak śmierć - zimny i precyzyjny. Czysta inteligencja bez emocji. Absolutnie piękno, ale to piękno zimowego krajobrazu gdy mróz skuwa wszytko lodowym całunem. Dobre do podziwiania, ale bynajmniej nie do uczestniczenia. Ten utwór jest GROŹNY. Mistrz miał wielkie wizje. Być może nawet rozmawiał z Aniołem i to jest muzyczny zapis tej rozmowy. Napisałem "być może", ale ja w to wierzę.Dlatego nie podejmuję się go oceniać, ani klasyfikować.

@@rejmons1 masz całkowitą rację. Niemniej nie wyobrażam sobie, że Bóg, Baranek boży, mógłby być tak groźną istotą. Osobiście, jestem agnostykiem, właśnie przez swoje negatywne przeżycia i doświadczenia które nic mi nie dały

@@magdalenakozowska5049 A ja nie i mam ku temu mocne podstawy. Zbyt mocne bym sobie mógł pozwolić na agnostycyzm. A już tym bardziej ateizm. Zadarłem kiedyś z siłami, z którymi człowiek nie powinien zadzierać. Ba! Nie powinien nawet o tym myśleć... Powiem ci tylko, że czarny pies z gorejącymi oczami wył u moich drzwi, a szary anioł chodził po moim domu. UPADŁY anioł. Dlatego agnostycyzm to owszem, ciekawa konstrukcja intelektualna. Ale ja nie jestem zainteresowany. Tak a propos: Piękną Panią także miałem okazję widzieć. Na własne oczy. I wcale za nią nie tęsknię. Bynajmniej...
