It feels like he defends Sanatan Dharma because it is under threat not because he understands it's philosophy. Sree Iyer once told him that there are no polytheistic religions and he didn't even know that Sanatan Dharma is not polytheistic.

But don't get me wrong AIM certainly has a place and is a doing a commendable job. My point was more towards the fact that I see him jumping in defence of Sanatan quite often and then find him a bit clueless about the theology. I can see him as a free speech activist or an equal opportunity offender but never as a Hindutwa activist. And we need more of the latter imo.

As someone who has been overweight and now a bit health conscious, I second that. When I was in bad shape people could only see my physical self not in good shape but when it came to mental health, I was all alone. I would encourage you to keep pushing, gradually it just becomes a part of your lifestyle and you have a new standard for yourself.

@@guri-0000 I know Punjab farmers use such a high amount of pesticides for wheat cultivation that cultivated wheat not feedable to cattles. But people still eat. I am talking about saving of water. Even daily vegetables you eat mostly brinjal capsicum contain high amount of pesticide residue.

meat is essential for body developmet and people who are involved in sports and heavy physical works for eg kshatriyas used to eat meat because they needed it for their physical prowess shudras used to eat meat because they did mostly physical work, hence even they needed good nutrition on the other hand brahmins and vaishyas, usuallay didnt eat meat because their work was maily less focussed on physical work more on their mental work hence it depend it isnt bad to eat meat neither it is bad to not eat meat depend on you

These are just my experience and not empirical and stochastic. They are leftist. In CRT Black, Islamists are considered victims because of many instances of phobia but they are the modern-day Brahmins and casteists of the society. In my hometown, I have a sister of my grandmother whose house I was staying at with her husband and kids. Most of the folks in the family as including the Husband and kids were extremely nice people who had no ill will, none communist. But, she and her 6 siblings (one died in the early 2000s) in my experience are the most bigoted casteist on the planet. This isn't even like you know, proper casteism but rather much worse, they hide their shitty attitude in public while in private they take a bath if they even touch a thing touched by someone who comes from the lower sections of the society. They consider themselves dirty on purpose and are some of the worst casteists I have ever seen. And it's not like our whole society near the coast is casteist. Rather most people are nice but deep in certain sections, you'll find this casteism because many of these people got back their caste after 1900. My family were related to the Polygars who ruled in and around Central Karnataka. After losing to the British they ran westwards towards the coast and settled near the coast but, you'll see that these people are extremely casteist and very very rice loving. They call you a slave if you hate on rice as I've seen them use it to criticize kids. It's not like they are uneducated, I mean half of them are graduates while the other half as at least passed 12th. This lady I was talking about is a State Bank former employee. Yet, the venom I saw in her eyes for Rice Haters is immense. Casteism while weakened is alive in pockets and let's hope our economy industrializes for if it doesn't, the thought leaders of the next 20 years are these shrivelled up crazy old grannies like her.

@@natalkumar6132 O my my. I'm from a Mangalorean household. Roman Catholic. I am 4 kilos overweight for my BMI. Same rice problem. So we reached an agreement that I would make my food separately. I had reduced my weight during lockdown and steadily maintained it till December 2021. I only switched Rice for Rice Bhakri. And also stopped eating Kolam altogether. Ate thiccboi coarsely ground Rice flour Bhakri and watery dal. I think variety of Rice and fiber content makes all the difference. Problem with thiccboi is it must be prepared for consumption. Otherwise it dries up and becomes cardboard real quick. Stopped eating it post joining work, gained it all back. Guess this is the natural body state.
