Bobby's a legend, he came down to Colchester garrison when our lads got back from Afghan the other week. Done an impromptu gig for them alongside his good pal Jim Davidson and Limahl was singing lol. Proper 80s night, the comedy was pretty old skool and reminiscent of my childhood, none of this woke crap you see these days. Lifted the boys spirits after witnessing some horrors in Kabul so thanks again Bobby. 🙌🏻

Really great to see him..im late 30s he was on telly all through my childhood to adult hood 80s 90s.. ain't seen him in years.. he looks well..

I saw Bobby Davro a few years ago in Pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth. He was absolutely brilliant. He’s a very talented man.

@@ZXSPEX if you’re uneducated enough to conflate wokeness with communism (by the way, do you know what that is or do you just like to repeat what you hear on GB News?), then you’re probably uneducated enough to also see that the term wokeness is now conflated with everything the right disagrees with because it apparently carries enough emotional weight to whip you lot into action and claim that woke students are the greatest threat to the UK and not the catastrophic leadership we’re experiencing or the devastating effects of Brexit, which I imagine you voted for. 5 years on and the effects are really staring to be felt. Not very patriotic to damage your own country is it?

Chris, wokeness is seeing race in everything. It is hatred towards white people. Also known as racism. It is support of BLM. All lives matter. Respect the police for gods sake they do their best. Dont assume everyone is a racist. 99.9% of us arent.

Bobby is a class act, always has been always will be. To call him “washed up” is laughable. What always makes me laugh is that virtually all of the comedians from the 70’s/80’s could make you virtually piss your pants. That era was so good, which is why the performers of that time are probable earning a fortune in royalties from the artists today because they are just copying the class acts from 70’s & 80’s. Unless you were there, you just wouldn’t know…. What a time it was…. Will never forget it…..

Good to see Bobby back on the screen. Last saw him in a musical called Eternal Flame which had a short try-out run many years ago! Always seemed a really nice man.

I cannot believe Roy Chubby Brown was cancelled in Sheffield because a few people complained. Apart from the fact Brown would have sold out the theatre how much money was lost by the hospitality trade because many people coming to the show would have used pubs, cafes and probably some would have stayed overnight. Can any town or city afford to turn business away after Covid?.

How insane the world is, the fable always predicts the way to break the spell, so sleeping beauty can only live with a kiss from her true love (bear in mind her true love) but if you want to be pedantic reverse the story a Prince doesn't help a woman and turns into a beast, I'm not the biggest fan of disney anymore but for year's I've watched it and I certainly have studied the reasoning behind the way children are sculptored in society
