Great podcast Paco.. Suggestion though coz your cutting in between Wolfs wolfgang stories and Im like.. "let him finish the story" and then maybe just create another story for u and introvoys.

The "MYTH" that Wolf is talking about Wolgang about their two hispanic members was true at that time because you know Filipino wouldn't be happy in your success that's why they make chismis like kind of stuff. But at that time I was only like 18 or 17 it doesn't matter to me,I grew up on them to their music up to this verry time,even one of my sons my 1st born was named after Basti.

LA 105.9 played LEFT ALONE while NU 107 played Darkness Fell lol.. and thank you wolf for acknowledging LA 105.9, sa totoo lang LA 105 talaga ang backbone ng 90s underground band kaya napunta sa mainstream,pero sa tingin ko The Youth talaga ang dahilan at napakalaking inpluwensya kaya naglabasan ang napakaraming banda,dahil ika nga kahit mukha kang hindi naliligo basta mabigat ang tugtugan pwede na🤣🤣🤣

Wolf is my childhood drum hero, I started playing drums because of him. The first time I listened to Arise, I knew I had to play the drums. 🙌

Although I have read the story of wolfgang, I was still amazed of the details of the forming of the band according to sir wolf's recollection of the bands history. How they ended up to sony entertainment label. They sounded very well under sony unlike when they were with ivory recordwise.. Sounded more like metal gods. They were like drugs to me in my youth, I cant live a single day without listening to wolfgang music. Til now in my 40s Im trying to tell my son about wolfgang..I got a nod sideways and been asked were they sound like gagong rapper? It pisses me off...

What a story from wolf ,hey wolf boy suplado ka noong 93' baguio convention center but the concert was a blast ,few people lang ,pero it was hard rock. Im really impress how paco conduct this podcast ,very intelligent and he listens to his guess at asked the right questions and not the usual one that we already knew about his guest kudos to your Podcast paco 👍👍👍👍

Nice. 1st time ko marinig ang Wolfgang Grade 2, 8 years old palang ata ako nun. Semenelin ang album. Favorite song "Mata ng Dios" Ganda ng ganitong content. May history, may kwento from the band member talaga. Nagsasalita with great story telling hindi yung babasahin mo nalang sa internet.

Met this guy when I was still in San Diego. I was still learning photography and wanted to have experience shooting live concerts and this dude let me work with Lokomotiv. At that time I was already doing graphics design so I helped the group with their website and album together with Franck Boistel who designed the album cover and Tolits Rosel who did the back end programming of the band’s Lokomotiv forum. I would drive up to LA and gained a lot of great photos and developed my craft. I think that’s how I met you too Paco. Great times.

Erick here, new subscriber from Dubai, UAE. I just found out this podcast. Brings back the 90's golden age of rock bands! I remember the first song I played on guitar was Line to Heaven by you Sir Paco though I have explored more on drums. I remember during high school years of making "papogi" to chicks by covering that song by my band. Watching this podcast brought me to where my band has started and how we have named it as well. In respect to you Sir Paco and Introvoys, Wolfgang has been the top Pinoy rock band that has influenced most of our covers. We have covered most of the songs from their Semenelin Album; Mata ng Diyos, Weightless and Bought and Sold. Also, I wanted to commend on your podcast with Sir Glenn Jacinto of Teeth which we did cover Laklak and Prinsesa. I must say, the '90s was the best era of Pinoy Bands in general, regardless if it's a mainstream or underground band. Keep inviting icons of Pinoy Rock Band and looking forward to you guys to visit us here in Dubai, UAE. So much respect to you Sir Paco and Wolf! Really enjoyed this episode. 94 before we left for Dubai. I was Grade 5. I bought 2 album at the airport. It was Wolfgang and The Youth. More power to you guys!

Wolf has always been the most outspoken member of Wolfgang, especially in the '90s: I remember reading an interview where he once described Eraserheads as "teenybopper music," much to the chagrin of EHeads lovers (haha). Thought it was just Wolf acting as defacto speaker for Wolfgang, like Lars for Metallica-- now I know it came from playing, living, and breathing rock 'n' roll. Also loved his drumming, especially in Wolfgang's "epic" songs like "Semenelin" and "New Mother Nature/Verwirrung" -- and I'm not even a drummer. His humility, quirkiness, and good-natured spirit reminds one of Peyaps. What a fuckin' trip to hear from that legend again. Another thing: Never imagined you and Wolf were friends since start, and that you're also friends with the Wolfgang/Razorback brothers. Enjoyed your stories together. Great interview, Paco. P.S. If only Brian "Hubad" Velasco were alive today. Maybe, you can also talk about him in future episodes. P.P.S.S. Have David Aguirre in here already, man! That's another fuckin' legend! First time saw Wolfgang they were the guest Band for Battle of the Bands one of the School in Pilar Village Joy Learning Center, w Maria's Mistress, I remember Basti and Manuel just wearing Sando shorts and sandals. First time to hear live Left alone and Darkness Fell they don't have album yet mostly covere song Black Sabbath Juan Dela Cruz and I said uuy nagtatagalog pala Yung Vocalista hahahha. Thanks Paco \m/

and because of Wolfgang back then I was nicknamed with Basti Artadi and started using it same as Wolf :D, people would ask where did basti came from so Wolfgang is now part of my life.

Sir Paco, isn't the RJ open band line up in Rob Galleria, or it came later? Haha, yung Rob lang naabutan ko eh, and we were able to play there, and the great Howlin Dave, RIP, was as usual, clutching a beer on one hand, and mic on the other.

Nakakamiss un Wolfgang, ano kaya brand ng headphone ni Paco dito? And by the way all of the wolfgang bassline are kickass at hindi madali tugtugin lalo na sa Solo part nagiiba sila pattern na normaly sa ibang bands pag solo ng lead ay chords ng verse or chorus un gagamitin sila that time kakaiba,lead guitar na shred un solo, bassline na wala sa chords.
