This is very sensitive to Mozart's musical character. Thanks so much for the inset so we can follow the pedal action.

Gifted young man, may God bless, protect and keep you in His love for ever.

I must say...this particular interpretation is just about damn close to the one I heard many times years ago when I could hear it. Sadly I can't find it anywhere now. It doesn't sound rushed in parts which is perfect, to me. It flowed almost as good. Most other versions, seems they rush painfully in parts or they hold certain notes longer. Whoever it was that played the one I long to hear once more, that person was Magic!

Edward James Sammut: very beautiful. The more I listen to this piece the more I feel the depth of Mozart's affinity with this instrument. Truly a masterpiece.

🎹 Bravo Mozart ! 🎹 10:58 🎹 It's similar to the Symphony No. 40 but on the Organ ! This proves that Mozart was developing his pure music in the church, not church music ! 🎶

John Sammut Ealing London: can you visualise Mozart at the organ playing his own composition. All that Mozart composed was uniquely beautiful, like K608. Looks easy to play but in truth technically difficult. Splendid rendition. Thank you.

Good evening Richard, could you please tell me what beating (oscillating) stop is used all the time throughout the piece - even with full organ - and the ratio behind its use? Or you used some digital effect like the "Random Detuner"? This is the first time I hear something like that! Thank you very much in advance!

@@johnsammut2568 Pardon me, but it looks very difficult, and it's definitely insanely hard to play. This is one of the aspects why I love Mozart's music above all. He teaches lessons of humility to everyone, especially to the pedantic snooty baroque asses who have always despiced his music. I've seen some Bachliebers playing the famous BWV 565 flawlessly, and then, screw it up when trying Mozart's KV 608. I'd say the score may seem simple to play but once you give it a try you immediately realize how hard it is to play Mozart accurately.

Interesting. This is recording on a real organ, complete with tuning failures. Well, at least the recording is authentic. But it is more interesting to hear a real organ being played instead of a recording of a recorded organ. Try Cochereau at the old Notre Dame organ (Rior to modification). But you do play it well. It is a shame they didn't tune the organ before recording it.
@TurtleFL4 жыл бұрын
Tune? Look... here's the reason it sounds as authentic as it does.... IMPERFECT TUNING. Not enough to take a thing from the music, but just enough to salt each note with the proper amount of dissonance. Yes, the samples are from a living, breathing pipe organ. Woven into that life and breath are the slight day to day variations, a result of which is captured in the samples, that give the instrument all of its real charm.

Hauptwerk organ, not a real organ but has real organ sounds from the Engler organ of Krzeszow Poland.
@ryangiraldi57224 жыл бұрын
This is actually a Hauptwerk setup in the home of Joerg Glebe, the organ is a sampleset, or high-fidelity imprint or reproduction of the real organ (Engler in Poland). He is most likely playing in a historic temperament, which would explain the “off” sounding notes. Many other recordings on other samplesets have been made on this setup. If the samples were able to fool you into believing this was a pipe organ, you might want to check it out for yourself!

not really, sounds more like a very dramatic symphony or opera act that mozart would write
