I like that we get to hear his doubts when obstacles seem too big. As a person who just got into mountainbiking this is very relatable for me.

"live to ride another day". Dangerous Dave is a good friend to have for you in those new, unkown surroundings. He showed you how it could be ridden and when you admitted you did not want to tackle that section he didn't push you but actually applauded your insight that it was for the vetter not to do it. Great partner you've got there!

Great riding with you Alex!

That guy makes for an amazing friend. Creative mind and shows you how to do everything rather than having you figure it out. Doesn't leave you in the dark on details either, and most of all, doesn't push you to do something if you're really nervous about it. Would make for an amazing friend.

I've been watching both of your channels for ages and to hear you say that you haven't been on routes like this confirms to me that there aren't many routes like this in the uk, if at all, which is tragic 😭

I'll watch some of these videos and convince myself that I could have run those trails 35 years ago. Even at 20 years old, I think I would have looked at this one and just gone home. Awesome ride with a great host!

The intro to this was hilarious! You said that it would be stupid to do something like this alone, so you have DangerousDave w/ you. I'm thinking, that's EXACTLy the person you want to make certain that all safety protocols are followed. And, for an added measure of protection, you can get an ambulance on standby driven by DUI Doug.

Great video, I watch DD all the time but don't appreciate just how difficult these trails are until you see some one like yourself, who can ride bit, take on the same trails and not be able to ride like Dave.
