This is the best atmosphere for these witches' dance; 'round the maypole only it's maybe an Octoberpole...they fit well into the nighttime, better than daytime! Live these ladies and I'm making my Hallowe'en costume to look like the horned witch, can't wait! Such an inspiration to witches everywhere!

First time seeing this particular Walpurgis video and man so well choreographed. I don't know but in the Northeast part of the US we never get the weaving right. I think we all have ADHD or something. The first video I have seen from Wolfshager Hexenbrut had that Peter Fox' "Bacon" song Schuttel Deinen Speck" (I had to translate out of curiosity). I love the music used for your Maypole dance. It's as if Lorena McKennitt went to Germany or Eastern Europe was inspired by the music there and recorded a piece but not singing in English. There is one lady with the horns who I always look for. I think were related. If not, sisters in spirit. I would love to some day come out to Germany at Walpurgistime to see the festival in person.

actually Walpurgisnacht (as heared in the song) is the night from April 30th to may 1st, legend has it that the witches would fly to the Brocken/Blocksberg (the highest Mountain within the Harz Mountain in Germany) and dance and feast during that night.

Ruf die Hexen der Umgebung zusammen und feier mit ihnen gemeinsam: Feuerstätte, ggf. Maibaum, Natur, singen, tanzen, musizieren, evtl. ein Bisschen zaubern und orakeln, ... Aber lasst die komischen Fake-Nasen daheim... Bin mir da recht sicher, dass sich Interessierte finden werden, die keine Publikumsattraktion daraus machen werden, sondern das Fest wirklich leben ;)
