It's the most visually stunning film I've seen in recent memory when it comes to 2D... I was blown away!
The colors, the detailed foliage are sooooo up my alley! The character designs, the fluid movements.. I could rave about it for hours!!
It was such a joy to edit that well.. it got me back into editing :)
Haven't done that in a while
(Being an adult with a job sucks)
Anyway, I had to get myself reacquainted with Vegas. As I was editing I though.. damn this movie deserves to be seen in 4k.
So I got the 4k version, replaced the footage.. and all hell broke loose. I spent a whole day messing around with codecs, mkv conversion, proxies and whatnot.. so appreciate this video goshdarnit :D
And go see this movie! It's SO GOOD!
It made my gay little heart so happy :3

Oh my god, this is a masterpiece! The song works SO well with the film & characters and the editing…the editing is absolutely superb. And oh my god, the voice lines were such a great touch. Amazing video.

This is the masterpiece of all the Irish animated films and this video is the perfect tribute. I’ve never been so moved by a combination of my two favorite things. Show Yourself and Wolfwalkers 🥰

Joy and sorrow and hope and the beginning of new life. The song is an affirmation of a journey into the unknown and finally finding ones place in the world, while the film is a battle-cry, a resounding "NO" in the face of suspicion and hate and blind acquiescence to an authority which seeks to destroy what it doesn't understand and will never control. A match made in heaven and a wonderful reminder of why our emotional connection to good animation, solid story telling and engaging characters will never falter. Thank you for making my day better. 😊

This is amazing! Your AMV has so many moments with PERFECT timing! And the moment where Mebh meets her mother again? That was genius! I pressed the like button the moment I saw 1:25. Incredible timing with the melody and the arrow hitting the ground.

I got teary eyed at the end, this song fits so well with this film and the relationships between the characters. You could easily see the film as a metaphor for girls coming out as lgbtqia+ but honestly you can have that AND the cute wolves.

this film is absolutely stunning, I was shook to my core watching it and gave my so much hope for Irish 2D animation. (they have another film called Song of the Sea, similar vibes, you'll love it if you liked Wolfwalkers) Your edit is absolutely gorgeous too, the pacing and scene choice is on point!

It's been years and years since I edited anything (was Horsesnhurricanes; can't manage to get into my old account now) but recently thought this song would go great with Wolfwalkers, and lo and behold someone I remember from way back in the good ole days has done exactly that! This is excellent. Honestly inspires me to maybe start editing again but dunno if getting a new channel off the ground will be practical haha

X3 I got the urge and opened movie maker for the first time in 13 years last week and made a video, it was so exciting but it's a lil depressing to have to start again with no audience on here on a new account so idk if I will post it haha

Yeah, sadly most songs are copyrighted :D It makes our job as fan-video makers super difficult I remember the good old days of youtube where you could just... create things and weren't threatened by law :DD It sucks cause it's such a favorite hobby of mine, but they make it impossible to do it legally. Maybe I could find some good copyright-free music (although that's not what I usually listen to on the reg xD) but there's no way to get movie clips legally.. now that everything's streamed and you don't own anything (: anyway, sorry for the rambling glad you enjoyed the video!!! (and it hasn't been taken down yet ;) )

I watch it on fmovies, you can try putlocker and such. Not every free movie site has it (and I mean no registration sites) but I’ve watched several times on fmovies, you just have to find the right page there’s like 13.

I definitely hope it wins awards too! It's a masterpiece! It's no problem, I'd love to help, but all I can say is I torrented it (rarbg), but you should figure out whether it's safe to do that in your country! (sadly there's no way to get footage in any legal way...)

This was meant to be. 💕 Aurora (the singer and composer of "Running with the wolves") did the voice acting for the mysterious calling "siren" in Frozen 2. So we're hearing Aurora's voice from two different films and in the same video 💕 Perfect combination 🙌🏻
