There is a safety shutoff built into the new propane tanks. It the event a a hose rupture it shuts off the flow of propane. When there’s no pressure in the system and you open the valve quickly it simulates a ruptured hose and triggers the safety. You can leave the gas off on your stove and just open the tank really slow. Outdoors4adventure You’re welcome! I don’t remember what year the new valves came out but it’s been a while. Pretty much every certified on the market should be running that valve. Keeping in mind that it is mechanical, I have seen variations in how picky they are when you open them. 😃

I've had the same problem with a weed burner. The 20lb bottle would shut off if you opened it too fast or even all the way. The new valves started around when they started adding the external threads I believe. That one exchange bottle was the touchiest I've ran across, but after that one I open slower and try to resist opening them all the way too lol

The sun came out so I setup the new Wolfwise Privacy Tent and show how we will use it.......We have used the tent for showers and portapotty. It is holding up and working out great.

That's a pretty awesome shower set up. We just got a solar bag. We haven't tried it yet, but not feeling real confident about it. We'll see. I know a lot of people use them. Yours has a nice pressure coming out. Agree about having a floor so critters don't climb inside to take shelter. pretty sure the one we got has a floor. We haven't even opened it up yet. Guess it'll be a surprise lol.

I experienced a similar situation on my tank when I installed a propane fuel gauge. I too have to turn tank on slowly. That’s a cool shower tent! I’d want a floor also! Lol...Dang that shower works great! 👍👋🏼

Those things are great definitely a welcome addition to any camping gear however you might want to run a test at night before you go out camping with it we bought one kind of like that just keep in mind that if you take a light inside it at night everyone outside of that enclosure will see your silhouette and know exactly what you're doing in there hopefully that one is a pretty thick material inside to stop that from happening

Very helpful Video! This seems to be one of the few tents like this with an actual floor sewn in to keep critters out. How has this held up after 4 years? Are you still running it, or have you found a better replacement? Thanks!
