Something to keep in mind is that C.H.I.M.P.S mode is an acronym. It stands for no continues, no hearts lost, no income(meaning no banana farms and no income from towers that have income upgrades), no monkey knowledge, no powers(meaning you can’t pay2win) and no selling. I would only try it once you have a firm strategy on whatever map your playing on.

There is SO MUCH DEPTH to this game and if you are truly interested/having fun you should absolutely continue the series!

Some good tips from someone who is level 134: Heroes usually change your setup, so some heroes you want to use specific monkey archetypes. And when you win a track, you get monkey money, that is the currency that can be used for powers (aka help/cheating) and buying new heroes and their skins. By the way, when you are playing on a track, you can look at all the upgrades you have bought with the xp from them, and their descriptions, as well as their tower picture and future upgrades, so that can help with getting a specific upgrade. Edit: Also don’t get stingy getting some upgrades for some towers, unless you are aiming for a specific upgrade, because tower xp (you get tower xp upon using them, the more you use them, the more upgrades you will eventually get) is only for unlocking upgrades to buy in the fight.

Something to keep in mind is your hero levels off his pops so if you can try and put him at the start of the track he will level up rapid. Druid is a really good monkey on all early tracks if you can try and grind xp for him he is one of the best towers in the game. big ups for playing my fav tower defence in the past 2 years.

I'm sure atleast one other person has said, but for the monkey ace you can swap its flight from circle to a different flight pattern to help it drop the bombs into better spots. Also I'm so happy to see you return to this I genuinely love the game and love your video's!

Wolfy bloons arc? Hell yeah. I recommend playing through maps you haven't completed, going for monkey money and trying to level all your monkeys up

All the events on the right side of the screen are: Odyssey: A string of 3-5 levels where you pick from a pool of monkeys and a hero and beat each level. Most have modifiers to bloon speed, MOAB health, etc, and monkeys dont carry over. Contested Territory: Risk but Bloons. You need to join a clan for that, but I'd hold off on that for now. Race: Self-explanatory. Very competitive, as you can start more rounds (yes, rounds plural) before finishing the current one. Wait till you get all the upgrades possible first. Boss Bloon: A big boss will spawn on round 40 and every 20 rounds after that. It has an astronomical amount of health and needs to be killed before it reaches the end (they're super slow though) or 20 rounds pass (as the rounds just keep going). Would recomend this extra mode first, but only once you get losts of upgrades and learn how to farm. As an extra note, the Monkey Knowledge tree is very helpful. Some points are simple, such as X upgrade is $Y cheaper, or X upgrade does Y effect for Z seconds. They get cracked later on, though, like a free dart monkey every game (helpful in most modes), 33% off your first military monkey, and an extra 25 health that regenerates over time.

You can click the arrows next to "First" on a monkey's portrait to change what it prefers to target. First will target the farthest ahead bloon, Last the farthest behind, Strong the one with the most health(great for things that do a lot of damage in one hit, like Snipers), and Close the closest bloon to the tower. You can do this to planes to, to change what flight path they take. Hope this helps! Nice to see you doing BTD6 again ngl

Awesome video Wolfy! I absolutely love this game, and I know you will too. Just some quick tips, try to use Tier 4 and 5s, instead of spamming tier 3s. They tend to perform a whole lot better. The Alchemist’s top path tier 4 upgrade is the best tower in the game, giving your towers around it an incredible buff. And lastly, It seems you’re struggling with Camo Bloons. I suggest saving up your monkey money to buy the hero Etienne. At level 7, he gives every tower the ability to hit Camo, and his abilities deal some pretty good damage. I’m excited to see more of this if you choose to play more. This game has some fun as hell things you can do, but right now my biggest suggestion would be to unlock the upgrades for all the towers so you can find out what they do, and what their strengths and weaknesses are.

A game that I would love Wolfy to play is helldivers 2, it's just as chaotic as he is

I am so glad you have come back to this game. I love it so much, and I hope this series continues! :)

If you are struggling with camos you can use the second middle upgrade of the village, it gives camo detection to all monkies in range. Also the bloons that took long to pop were camo lead bloons. Crossbow monkies don't have lead popping so only the exploding arrows of Quincy were able to pop them. The top path alchemist monkey can give buffs to other monkies, like more range, damage, pierce and lead popping. There are a lot of bloons types. Purple bloons can't be popper by magic and fire. Lead bloons can only be popped with exploding, or hot projectiles (the description will tell you) or with the top path alchemist or with the middle path village. I recommend you trying out the bottom path wizard. The tier 5 is very cool.

Would love to see a series on this as one of my favorite past time games. However the best thing about wolfy and creators like him, they can make any game enjoyable to watch. But a btd6 series would be great.

First of all thank you for playing this again and I really hope you continue but here is some advice from the person who told you to do the hardest thing first in the 3rd tea time 1. Correct me if wrong but I think you think exp for monkeys are connected they are not so feel free to spend happily on what you want 2. I would recommend doing a map with some water as the boat and submarine are very strong late game with good upgrades such as for boat: 5-0-2 for submarine: 2-5-0 3. always spend your monkey knowledge some are very useful such as giving extra health, more money at the start of the map and something very special with there can only be one I'll let U figure that out yourself ;) 4. final tip from me getting heroes such as entienne or sauda although they are expensive they are the most powerful such as entienne giving everyone camo detection or sauda hiting at a speed faster than God

I love bloons. There is a lot to learn in the beginning but you'll bare through it. Btw always have something to pop lead bloons at lvl 28 and camos for 33

Hey wolfy a solid early game defense on anymap is a 4-0-1 upgraded Ninja monkey and a 4-0-1 Alchemist (the first number means the top path of upgrades second number means the middle path and third means bottom path) make sure to place them next to each other the alchemist allows towers in its range to pop lead and ninja monkey has base camo detection meaning he requires no upgrades to be able to hit camo

This is gonna be a great series. Also your hero is gonna be what strategy you use. Like if you use obyn you are probably gonna use a lot of druids, or with Brickell you will use water monkeys. Also once you get better at the game you doing the boss events will be really fun to watch.

don't know if someone already said this but sniper monkey has infinite range so putting them far away they can still hit everything but you leave room for closer range monkeys. I would reccomend getting one like fully automatic and one that can break metal bloons.

I loved the vid so here is a tip for you: You can change the targeting of the towers to make them pop specific bloons, like the strongest or the closest to the tower. This works with plane as well where you can change the flight pattern.

Wolfy buying super range gives me physical pain

True, Super monkey is the same thing I always used. Anytime I asked for my moms phone when I was a kid I would endlessly play BTD4 on it even after we got home and I would always use the supermonkeys at the very end even though the screen was completely covered with monkeys.

I just started playing this game a few days ago and its been fun it definately makes my brain less smooth. I like to mention that i git this game via coupons which is kinda funny.

For snipers, they only need a line of sight on certain maps, this one they don't need a line of sight you can put them anywhere and they'll be fine

If you do play this game again, you can use wizard monkey, monkey sub (where there is water), or Etienne (a different hero like Quincy) to give any monkey camo detection.

Honestly, I would LOVE to see you play more of this. The only advice I will give is to try and get upgrades for your monkeys, test them out, and try out different heroes when available.

There’s so much to this game and so many tips but here’s 2 Some monkeys/towers can give buffs to other monkeys/towers or debuff the Bloons, they can help with something specific or just make some towers crazy strong. Given you probably don’t know what is in every round or when camo/ lead starts appearing, just prepare for every bloom type possible.

A little tip for you: the arrows around the "first" determine which bloon it targets, tapping tha arrows will cycle through 4 targeting options. First: target the bloon furthest up the track Last: target the bloon least furthest up the track Close: target the closest bloon relative to the monkey in question Strong: target the strongest bloon on screen It may be a good idea to set your snipers to "strong" so that they gun down the tough ones so your shorter ranged towers can clean them up.

You should continue playing after you beat a track. It is a good xp method and you can try towers without consequence. Round 59 was camo lead. Also, a 0-2-0 village gives you camo detection. Don't worry about all of the challenges and events yet. Focus on the basics and unlocks.

You can toggle auto-starting rounds on a menu when you're in a match and press the escape key. Your index finger will thank me.

Small tip, try using the TownHall tower, there’s an upgrade in it that allows towers within its radius to attack camo, this way you can try out all the other monkeys without having to worry if they can target camo bloons.

Yeah this would make a good miniseries, I see bloons as the long lost cousin of pvz

Each tower has its own xp, so you don’t have to worry about not getting upgrades to save xp

Note: You may want to set your snipers to target "strong". Snipers get upgrades where they can do massive amounts of damage to the baloons they target, but it mostly gets wasted if they target one of the near infinite, and usually frontmost low level balloons. By setting them to strong, they will target the strongest balloon in their range, which is infinite, and wreak havoc.

tip from a level 132 (yes i know im sad) : make sure to plan ahead and make as few in the moment choices as you can. plan out as many waves as you possibly can. and for the love of god, DONT FORGET REGROW SPAM PROTECTION. YOU WILL NEED IT.

You might well unlock the beast handler monkey, aka one would call it Pokemon Trainer. You can merge different types of beasts into a more powerful single beast with that lad. You can unlock it by accessing the quests section (found by clicking on the girl with adventure gear on the main menu)

0:35 Wolfy if you think you are a Tower Defense whiz, you should try out Mini Robot Wars/Tiny Defense where there are lots of different terrain types and most units function differently of one another, not to mention they are more variated.

All the different bloon types The basic bloons-The range from red to pink each popping into a smaller one Camo bloons- a property that makes the bloon only able to be seen by upgrades that allow it fortified bloons- a property that increases the bloons hp regrow bloons- a property that makes it so the bloon regrows Black bloon-Immune to explosions White bloon-Immune to ice Purple bloon-Immune to magic Lead bloon- Immune to all thing other than explosions and fire Zebra bloon- Has both black and white bloon properties Rainbow bloon - Break into zebras->white and blacks -> pinks to red Ceramic bloon - Has a hard outer shell which needs lots of dmg to break All the moab classes are basically the same but scale in hp, execpt the DDT DDT- is a moab with camo and lead

if you continue, try using villages. if you get the middle path, anything in their range can pop camo and lead

Honestly one of the games of all time. Try saving up for Sauda. Amazing all-rounder, handles well in any situation, pops camo, has abilities that pop lead… very efficient. All monkeys in this game have many uses, and read descriptions and google stuff to figure out what really works and how. Spend some time on this game, it really shows its charm in the long run. …past mastery 6 it gets a bit old.
