Dibbell's technique is clubbing with the heel of his hand hitting first and then dragging his fingers across the face to make it look like a slap. He leads with the heel every time and his fingers are angled back and don't make contact until after the heel hits the chin!

Dibbell stepping like he's tap dancing out there. At 22:03 Dibbell stepped BAD...WTF?? Last fight I watch Rivero got disqualified when he KO'd Static cause of a stepping foul just like this and walked away without the W. WTF Power Slap?? Get your sh!t together man. How are you gonna treat one athlete one way and then go and treat a veteran like Wolverine this way? You guys have 15 officials, 6 refs, and 10 slow-mo camera angles, and still let this sh!t slip? Doesn't look too professional Dana. Looks like you cooked the books. Just sayin'...Slap Fight needs to fix this ASAP.
@Logic-Is-Uncommon
@Logic-Is-Uncommon 10 ай бұрын
Even if they called the stepping, Damien would have still won because Wolverine wasn't knocked out. So whether a slapper is disqualified or not is purely dependent on whether their opponent gets knocked out. It's a dumb rule I know lol The figher should either get disqualified for stepping irrespective of the KO or the fighter shouldn't get disqualified even if they KO someone, can't have it both ways or it's just illogical.

I can promise you this. How much is spent on production has nothing to do with how much employees or talent is paid, nor is it an indicator that it is making money or losing money. Example: The WNBA, and its individual teams have increased production values since its inception, year after year, and that accounts for inflation. A WNBA player who wins a championship can see no increase in pay, nor any increase or any access to residuals even tho that teams venue will increase the production value of the local games exponentially(This part includes most professional sports organizations not just the WNBA) The WNBA has consistantly lost roughly 10 million dollars a year, every year, for roughly 30 years(This part is WNBA exclusive). Example: Production values since UFC 1 to today are astronomically, unfathomably, incomparable to the production values the UFC has today.The value and income of the UFC has done the same.The level of skill, and training required to step in has done the same. The UFC is notorious for being very stagnant on the increase of purses between the years 1990-2023. People in the upper echelon of talent and earnings after WINNING a fight, sponsorships, and PPV split earn up to 1.5 million a fight (Dustin poirer and Justin Gaethje UFC 291) and spend good portions of thier life training to do so Jake Paul started boxing a few years ago as a hobby, lost an exhibition match to a boxers brother and made up to 8.6 million dollars after LOSING, sponsorships, and PPV split. Example: What ever crew cleans that building, what ever crew builds that stage, what ever crew works security, what ever crew worked food stands, what ever crew/crews set up 99% of what allows this to function will be paid the same amount per hour, or day rate regardless of the event they're putting on and regardless of how much that event or venues income increases. If the event was power slap, or the event was the reanimated corpses of john legend, michael jackson, and elvis' farewell tour, 99% of the staff that brought you this will not see a change in pay. Oh they won't be paying those corpse's more either. I can assure you they will fight tooth and nail to hold them to whatever contractual obligations they already signed up for and can hold them too. TLDR: Hope is not a plan.
