Yes, on his birthday. Would literally plan the whole thing for months. Stalking him, staying downwind and ambushing him when he was alone. Kicking the shit out of him, beating him to within an inch of his life. Then Sabertooth would tell him "happy birthday" and leave in a puddle of his own blood.

Sadly it's tied in with Logan and Creed's origin story. Which has been retconned, rewritten and retconned again so many times that you'd think Deadpool was playing a practical joke with the Continuity Stone in his possession. So we may never know the "real" reason. My personal theory (ie headcannon) is that Creed really is Logan's father. Logan's mother died in childbirth and Victor spent Logan's entire life resenting and hating him for his wifes death. Now, because Creed is an absolute sociopath of the highest caliber he probably taunted Logan with it relentlessly and relished the guilt and grief it caused him. And murdered friends and loved ones who sought to help Logan heal from the childs pain he carried to keep him in a perpetual state of suffering. Now, when Logan developed full blown amnesia this likely enraged Creed because he wasn't capable of being tormented in the same way. But he's also smart enough to know that Logan's amnesia is as much of a weak point as his guilt was. Which is why he periodically, cryptically taunts Logan about his past. But Logan's birthday is when Creed's rage really comes to a head. The anniversary of his wifes, Logan's mothers death. He's utterly fixated and like a true sociopath he can't just let it go. So he stalks his only son, hunts him down and inflicts external agony on Logan that mirror's Victor's internal pain. But he's unwilling to just kill because after hundreds of years of this inane ritual Victor knows that it (and Logan) are all that he has left of his beloved. And that to bring his sons life to an end would be to lose all he has left of her. But that's just what makes sense to me based on the snippets they've dropped over the years. Like I said, we will never know the "real" reason because Marvel writers and editors could never settle on one. Or when they did their eventual replacement would retcon the whole thing as "false memories", "programmed hallucinations" or "it was all a dream, or was it..." Which is a giant pain in the ass as a fan. Not unlike why we'll never know the "real" identity of the Hobgoblin.
