When Ambassador wolf Zephyr licks and nibbles Nikai, not only is he keeping his brother's fur clean and free of debris, his grooming efforts are gestures of intimacy that reaffirm the unique emotional bonds that shape the foundation of the family.
Ultimately, wolf families are just like ours; they play together, eat together, groom one another, and most importantly, love together.
When it comes to wolves it's all about family.
Nikai and Zephyr are captive born gray wolves at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. They are 'ambassador wolves' at the WCC that help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

Ferocious? No....there are very few wolf attacks on humans . They are deeply sensitive, curious and intuitive creatures who are highly intelligent and make wonderful parents. Honey Badgers are ferocious af tho

@@teamgodzilla7243 disagree strongly, yes they can smell 3000 times better than us, have a bite force 10x stronger that a German Shepard, however they are social loving creatures and know if you are not here to hurt them they will not hurt you. I have played with wolves before

I once sat with a pack of wolves and the alpha female kept wanting to lick my mouth. She was very friendly and beautiful. At the end of our walk we all sat and howled together and it was a most awesome experience and one i hope to repeat 🙏 ❤ ♥

@Nixon Eli wrong definition of "magical." What i mean is that the wolf is beautiful, loving, majestic species, & they represent a good definition of how a family could be. If you take the time to realize how wonderful a wolf is in real life, you could see an amazing good side to the animal & that's when the magic starts coming into your mind.

@Nixon Eli focusing on the good things about the animal is how you get the most magic out of the wolf species of canine. Focusing on bad things too much can make you hate them which is what most people do. I focus on the good things about the wolf & all the magic about it is released & realized. Nature is full of magical animals but people misjudge & hunt them which is where nature shows & sanctuaries come in to show the magic of these different animals from one's who became extinct to ones surviving & evolving today. The magic & kindness of a wolf & wolf pack is amazing in so many wolf families. Even though there are still some bad things, we can understand their reasons & understand the animal more. The wolf has so much magic in them from family bonding to strategy hunting so they can survive. Yes, I know wolves aren't the toughest but they have their own levels of power. Focusing on good things about the wolf is how people work at wolf sanctuaries as they see more good in the species than they see the bad. This helps the sanctuary employees not be too afraid of the wolves & are brave enough to honor, house, & feed the wolves. WCC(Wolf Conservation Center) has shown that it's possible to train a wolf to be an ambassador as shown through their website in their memorial page. Not many people believe in training a wolf but from the training, the wolf became nicer & released a lot of magic so people can see the good side. Wolves have killed for their living & we humans are mad about that but humans in the past & present do the same things because we need to survive or are homeless. The wolf is like someone who is homeless & is hunting for any food it can get but we humans just shoot them down in the wild. There are other ways to keep wolves from livestock too that don't require murdering them but we just haven't found a way yet. Wolves never will lose their magic & will always show how wonderful & nice they can be.

When they are nibbling the are eliminating ticks. It's a wolfie massage technique. Our old wolfdog used to obsequiously freak out over cats. They'd walk up to him and he'd tremble and ever so gently try to nibble the middle of their backs. The cats were tolerant of his presence but that was not attention they received joyfully.

My dogs do this to me! They’re so happy to see me when I come home that they want to hold my hand in their mouths! Not to bite me but literally just to show how intensely they love me! They also do those little front teeth love nibbles just like that!

God bless you! It’s an example for all of us how to love! We assume we are human being, so smart, but we have argues at home with our relatives, international conflicts, wars.. Let’s love each other, people, dear friends, and enjoy the life! P.S. When wolf find his mate they stay together during all life! No divorce, no separation. We should learn from them and value our precious relationship!
