The federal offense is called interference with a flight crew . It’s punishable by up to 20 years in prison. The penalty for this offense is more severe if a weapon was used which it doesn’t look like it was in this case

I flew United to Hawaiian back this year in March, AND they were perfectly wonderful. In fact I was surprised that they had improved so much. They did everything they were supposed to do,.. This woman is just having a meltdown.😮😢
