It honestly kills me how dogs forgive and love humans after being abused and neglected by humans. Pure hearts are in the bodies of animals thats for sure!

She was definitely "Foster Fail" material, especially when she learned how to swim! What sweetheart, I'm glad she's safe and happy! Edit: I'm glad to see so many people responded and agree that she is a wonderful dog! I'd like to think it means more and more people will adopt from shelters when looking for their next family member. I know that when my current 13 year old companion Roxy, crosses the Rainbow Bridge (hopefully not for many years!) I'll be looking for a senior rescue. There are too many in shelters since most people want a puppy. But I think the "Frosty Faced" seniors are just as cute and are extremely grateful. Too bad we can't give them all homes tomorrow!

Oh my gosh, the SWELLING in her left hip! That poor baby! I just had my hip replaced and went through it with no pain killers (I live in Portugal, they don't give you pain meds - at least not of the opioid variety!) - and it was ROUGH! I can't IMAGINE the pain she must have gone through! And she was sweet the whole time - what a great girl! So glad this lovely couple decided to adopt her! ❤

*This wonderful dog did have a broken body but not a broken spirit!* What a wonderful life she will now have! My best who all the rescue and for anyone interested please look into it. I’ve fostered for 10 years and getting a dog or cat healthy to the point where they can go to their forever home is the most fulfilling thing you can do. You really seem to get more out of it than the dog. _Do contact your local sanctuary or ASPCA… There are tons of things you can do to help._ ❤️🐾
