My daughter is a teacher and she is dealing with kids whom seem to be much more immature due to the pandemic’s missed years of school… Kids don’t like have to be back in school under supervision(they had mostly free range at home with parents working all day). Kids are more disrespectful and unruly.

COVID not to blame lol ....what's happening to our youth does not at all have to do with missing school. It's lack of parenting, discipline and any sort of religion in the household......at least in my opinion. We have a very weak generation

@@GamingGrandma50 But they did get worse since COVID. The economy is in the sh*ts, both parents have to work, so you're right about the lack of parenting. But parents seem to be more lenient now. I also think during the pandemic, some kids witnessed their parents going against authority, hence, the reason they're so disrespectful now and some kids bonded with their parents, but in a friendship type of way, which isn't always the best thing for kids. So while this was going on before COVID, it definitely got much worse after.

They weren't friends...she was a client at her salon for lashes, and she would always ask the victim to hang out with her outside of the salon and she would say no. Then, she was messaging her asking if she could come over to do "emergency lashes" and she said no but she randomly showed up on her doorstep with 3 pcs of cheesecake, her eating 2 and gave her the last piece. Probably to show that the cheesecake was safe. She's a despicable woman. I feel so bad things for her victims 😢

Good morning Ana and Tracy - the case of the poisoned cheesecake took forever to go to trial. That crime was done years before the teacher killing.. isn’t it crazy how some cases go before the court so quickly and others take forever? I’m so glad Tracy mentioned the age of criminals and the frontal lobe not being closed. If we could start rehabilitation now these people could do a lot of good with their life. I am not justifying their crime, my heart breaks for those that miss their teacher, Mother, Wife, etc.Ana - Natalie is just adorable. Two cases as horrendous as they are intriguing in the sense that it's just so amazing how the human mind works. The lookalike murderer was on the verge of being a serial killer. Thank goodness the victim survived and thwarted that plan. Why on earth would she have thought that was a good idea? There was no backup plan and evidence was left behind. And in the case of these 2 boys. Oh my goodness! The depravity, absurdity and stupidity of this plan is beyond me. Excellent points were raised as to the maturity level of these individuals to commit this heinous act over an inconsequential matter such as a "bad grade". And also what was happening in their personal lives to lead them to think this was a viable, practical solution without thinking of next steps. Like, what would happen when the police come knocking for example. So now these boys will finish their education in the school of hard knocks and these learning lessons will likely be very VERY intense for them. Murderers of women are frowned upon in prison. Don't drop the soap boys. Oh my goodness! Their parents....how are they handling this situation? In their personal and social lives? And the family of the victim. It's such a tragedy all around. But again how the human mind works just blows my mind. One adult committing a horrible act for a stupid reason. Two young adults committing a horrible act for a REALLY stupid reason. At what point did any of them stop to think about the consequences and the fact that this is just wrong on all levels. Our society is in dire need of a morality shakeup. There is such a lack of restraint and appreciation for human life. It's disturbing. Thank you ladies for sharing your thoughts and insight.

The low grade may have been a good motive for the state and a pathetic excuse for these teens but that's not the reason why. They did it because they wanted to. They probably would have done this to someone else at some point in the future. This wasn't an outburst of anger. It was a planned attack by two people. I suspect they've had dark fantasies of murder for some time and this was just the excuse they needed to justify to themselves to carry out this malicious crime.

Regarding the boys who murdered their Spanish teacher over the grades, THEY EARNED. This is what happens when a society takes away scores in a baseball games, and demanding that children have to be equal no matter what. Especially since the parent doesn't want to help the student or train them to do their best. That breeds individuals who believe they should be hired for any job they want and that they believe they can have whatever they want by any means because they deserve it.

When my oldest daughter was 18 years old I found messages on her phone to several other teens (about 10 others) where she was talking about how much she hated us (parents & siblings) so much and how she wanted us dead. We took this seriously based on the past 15+ years of life with this child. We told her she had to leave our home. It's been a few years and she doesn't speak to us. It's a very difficult thing but we all feel safer and happier. However we lost a lot of friends by doing this. People just kept saying "all teens do that/say that". Well what if she did something to us or our other kids? Then we'd be dead and everyone would be asking why we didn't react? At some point you have to worry more about the younger kids and your own safety. It's a sad world we live in.

God Bless your heart. I’m sure that wasn’t an easy decision to make. She’s 18 technically an adult according to the law. She knew right from wrong. Saying you hate and want your parents dead is a threat that needs to be taken seriously given the current climate of the world. Prayfully one day she’ll be mature enough to apologize and make things right. As for the neighbours and family members criticizing your decision they didn’t have to read those messages and have that feeling of fear and dread overwhelm them. And now having to deal with the loss of your child. Stay strong mommy and pray things will get better.

Yes, if something had happened people would've questioned why you didn't do something. As you said, your decision was based on years of your knowledge and your experiences. No one can possibly understand such situations with years of so many variables, emotions, strife, dynamics, experiences, etc. unless they're the ones in it. And even then, it's hard to understand.

Recidivism is a huge problem. We lock folks up and forget, and do not follow up to see what is actually going on in our penal system. So when sentences are up, they get out and do the same shit. Especially when the criminals can’t find jobs or housing due to prejudice against ex-crims. Our culture is that punishment is better then offering help. I’m no bleeding heart and believe heinous crimes deserve heinous punishments. However, I also think there needs to be a way to improve the individual and improve the communities that aid in the ease of criminal endeavors

WHAT was the home lifelike for these idiots?? Are these extremely strick parents that push kids beyond their capabilities? I would be quite curious!! I had a history teacher in Wisconsin that favored his Ski Club students. There were a few kids that turned in half page book reports ALL YHE TIME & got As & Bs. I actually read my books and was thoroughly in my reports. 1 day i had had enough! I was normally a quiet person and very respectful. I turned in a report on Alls Quiet On the Western Front. I see one of my classmates sitting next to me ( a Ski Club student) got a B+ on not even a full page report. ( not possible for that book ) then I saw others in the club also having minimal effort. When I got my paper my grade was a C+/B-. At that point I lost it. I stood up and questioned. He told me to sit down. I refused. He told me to go to the deans office. I began swearing ( totally out of character for me) I told him off about favoritism. The lack of effort on club members and my true efforts and the lack of cause for my results. When he got louder I got louder. I told him that I was leaving HS to be what he expects; a pregnant teenager that wasn't in his club that refused to sit in on his crap. I left HS, tested out and got and HS diplomam. But to this day I believe that that teacher changed the course of my life in a very NEGATIVE way. My pressures of grades were my own and that teacher that so many thought was cool, should not have favored certain students!!! BUT I never thought of killing him!! Punching him crossed my mind after the fact but I moved on. These guys are just plain murderers!! These friggin Millenial and Gen Z azzholes are entitled screwed up freaks that I've on social media and gaming and have damaged brains.

I just could live with myself if I took a life even by accident but especially if it was selfish reason such as this lady. I pray the victim at least gets Justice. I believe the boys blames the grades and not racism, it’s less time. You get hate crime murder. Also gets more time with a knife rather than a gun. You can stop stabbing after first or second and gun once it’s in motion you can’t stop that first bullet. Different cases different situations and it’s up to the attorney to build a defense. So sad this lady was loved by students and her family 😞

I think I may know why the young man's "GPA" statement was so significant, in reference to how it played into the murder. Well, when kids first pick college classes, sometimes we don't get our 1st choices. Matter of fact, many times we get 3rd choices, and its classes like Spanish 2. We had no intention of trying to learn a foreign language. And that , my friends, was why he got so awfully pissed at an Innocent Spanish teacher for "messing up his GPA" as he so stupidly put it. He can't seem to u n derstand that every class is a credit but electives are only a half a credit. He was so dumb, he didn't even realize that. He could have switched after half a semester if he didn't enjoy Spanish. It's no issue.

I was poisoned by the children of my fiancé. He was 21 years older then me and had three teenagers. Let me just say that they hated me especially when their father proposed marriage. I didn’t see it coming. I spent a week in intensive care and almost died. I have a lifelong restraining order against all three of my husbands kids. The eldest one died of cancer 12 years ago so I don’t have to worry about him anymore. But the remaining adult children are not to come near me or my family. Hate, jealousy and envy are horrible traits in humans and when they bubble to the surface they can be deadly. The attempted murder left me with a phobia with food. It took me a long time to expect food from anyone and even though this happened over thirty years ago I still can’t touch Chinese restaurant food. I start to get anxious if someone mentions going to a Chinese restaurant. I simple cancel the invite. It was the chicken sweet and sour that was poisoned by them. I think human beings trust too much. We shouldn’t overlook red flags in people and my fiancé’s children were showing these red flags long before their father become my husband. I went on to marry John and the wedding was beautiful. John banned he’s children from attending the wedding. An AVO was already placed on all three of he’s kids. These little monsters were not going to win. John and I welcomed a new baby into our world a year later and we protected and guarded her from her step siblings. They tried to reach out to my daughter when she turned 21 but my daughter blocked them on face book. Oh and on the night before John and I were getting married we got some nasty phone calls. We know very well who was behind those calls.

What is these boy’s home life like? My mind is wondering if maybe their parents beat them for bad grades and they were just so afraid of bringing home a bad grade that they punished the teacher? They had to have learned that aggressive behavior from somewhere. I’d like to see what their parents have to say an how their home life is. Murder is murder either way tho and they should be punished for taking that innocent teachers life
