Inspector Ed McIsaac is reunited with Kaitlyn Mason-Baril whose life he saved nearly two decades ago in Edmonton. Video by Bruce Edwards, Edmonton Journal.

Job well done and one better stories of EPS and it goes to show you that those who have first aid training can save lives in matter of minutes and it great to see the reunion of these 2people and the parents as well. Sometimes law enforcement has to deal with everything good and bad but over a career this makes the officer feel good and it's special moment for the officer and the family especially the girl who help saved that day

This is what we need to hear more of. Good stories of what police officers never get credit for. There are more good than bad police officers and people need to process that and never forget that. This family will always remember the good deed of a complete stranger in uniform. 100’s of other stories exists just like this one.

Let this video teach everybody that's watching don't be so fast too write people off and just a little kindness goes a long ways🤔 never get so high that you don't think you are your love one can't come down because if it goes up it can come down. Unfortunately for these police officers that strive to do what is right the publicity goes to the corrupt cops that end up tarring these guys with the same brush. When I get home at the end of a shift I am prepared to give a blow by blow account of everything I did that day because I will never do anything that my family will not be proud of.

She had anoxia - maybe swallowed a sweet or a little toy or something that was blocking her airway. Sounds like he tried the heimlich maneuver and that cleared the issue.
