I agree but I but after months and months of chasing this crazy scammer lady for your money that you become so frustrated and just want someone to hear your side of the story. It can end up eating up all your mental energy and you can become desperate for someone to hear the truth. This is why when I had a shitty room mate who skipped out on paying 3 months rent, I just didn't bother taking it to court. I chased them for the money for a few weeks and then just gave up. It is just sometimes too mentally draining to deal with shitty people like this.

Ok lets say the defendant did indeed write the wrong number down (🤨😳🤫) and the defendant did indeed come to her house, the minute she realized the issue, she should have made amends. Even when the license was suspended, that was the realization that there was a problem. People fall on hard times, it’s life and can happen to any of us, but you do the right thing, and don’t dodge your obligations.

You don’t necessarily have to put your information on the Internet for it to be out there. I have found my current and previous addresses and other people’s information on people finder sites by googling the name and city. I even found my old college PO Box and I know I never put that on the Internet. Also I’ve also paid for a background check on someone before. The only thing that makes me a little harder to find is that I don’t go by my first name. And most people don’t know it. I’ve found my mom and dad’s addresses and they don’t use social media. Some sites you can request your information be removed.
