I miss my Bella dog so much. She was a brown brindle, and we had her for 15 years until she had to be relieved of cancer that came out of nowhere. I never had to train her because it was like she could read me from a simple look. She was sweetheart from the day I got her as pup until her last. One morning, she woke up around 2 am. and started panting uncontrollably. I waited for the vet to open at 8 across the street from our neighborhood and when i went to get her off the couch, she wouldn't move. After a few hrs with our vet we got a call saying she was OK as far as our vet could tell, but they were going to do more extensive tests and x-rays (which we insisted upon) because I already knew this was FAR from normal. She ended up having a tumor on her spline that we didn't know about and that it ruptured. When we went to be there for her later that day in her final moments, she wouldn't look us in the eye and burried her head in between my wife and I. When she saw the 2nd needle, which the one that stops her heart, she sighed turned her head away from both of us. Her life long buddy (Capone) who was also a pitbull had to be put too sleep at our house 2 yrs prior at 13 for cancer as well that got really bad within 5 wks of me noticing his lympnodes were swollen one night after giving him his little rub down that i would do every single day. I let her stay in our living room to see it so she didn't think we just got rid of her very best friend, and she must have known it was coming when she saw that 2nd needle. It was absolutely horrible to watch.

Pit Bulls are wonderful! I had one for 14 years. Both my son's have them as well. They are kind, smart, and affectionate. There are NO BAD Put Bulls, just BAD OWNERS who train them to be mean.

Yeah, that's so true, isn't it? Unfortunately, you hear too many sensationalist horror stories that offset good ones like these. Also applies to Doberman, Rotties, Shepherds, etc.

It's not the breed of dog, it's the owner and how they treat their dog. Treat your dog like your children and you get the same result. Your choice. Love, respect, nurturing, proper diet, exercise and of course a lot of LOVE makes for a great human being and doggo! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
