My wife bought a bracelet from a garage sale for $25, she gave it to our daughter for a birthday present, our daughter had it appraised and it turns out that the bracelet was worth $12,000. It was a bracelet made in Germany in WWII that the German soldiers made for their mothers as something to remember them by due to the chance that they might not return from war and that there were only about a dozen or so of these bracelets in excistance so you never know what you will find at a flea market or garage sale

My business partner dated a girl who came from a poor background, had a massive emerald ring that she inherited from her grandmother, and she wore it for years thinking it was glass. If you invest it right or use it as capital for a buisness venture, it can make you much more then a millionaire, 850,000 Is more then enough to make you a future billonaire, it just takes Vision, research & patience, & a little effort, but 850k is a great launching pad to much much more, if you don't get impulsive & waste it. But even if you didn't invest it, 850k could last you a life time, if you are frugal & practical with it. Just don't let the money go to your head & be a fool, instead, use your head to manage the money & make it work for you, or you will be right back to square 1.... & again you will be "working for your money" - have a blessed & prosperous lifer to all who read this :-)

Wow what a coincidence!! Just now I was standing in the checkout line at wholefoods and this lady was also eyeing my earrings 😂 and she told me those my style of diamond jacket earrings are definitely vintage and quite rare and no one makes those anymore!! Made me want to look into it more so I did a search and found this video and laughed when I heard the similar story. Maybe I should get them appraised... regardless, I ain't auctioning these bad boys off 😎💍💎

✨it was likely more valuable than what it sold for . .she should’ve held out for more at the auction, insisting on a fixed reserve of at least 650k pounds to open the bidding . .because a 26 carat (weight) fully faceted, cushion cut diamond from the 19th century is a rarity in itself, the period may have been the Belle Époque era when the cushion cut and old mine cuts were fashionable then . Something happened to me in a thrift store finding a platinum & gold cigar band ring laced in rubies & diamonds, I paid $12- for it and brought it to my friend who specialized in antique jewelry . .she told me it was from the 1920’s, has a 6.0 gram weight . ..I was disbelieving her but these flea markets or thrift stores have got buried treasures . .✨ . .the ring was valued at $ 2500-

I once went to a flea market. I got a flat tire and it started to rain, after struggling with the jack came to find out the lug nuts were so tight I slipped in the mud and spotted a gold gleam through the sand. Fortunate for me and you could imagine my surprise the gold gleam was actually my car keys had fallen from my jacket. Apparently a hole had been worn in my jacket pocket. This jacket was 100% genuine cow leather and had been given to me by my grandfather whom I had always loved dearly. He was a kind old man who had a hearty laugh. One day he laughed so hard it put him in the hospital, strangely the hospital was very near where I got the flat tire. I thought to myself what a strange set of coincidences. Of course my grandfather is home now, he loves to sit by the fire, especially on a rainy day. Crimey, I wish it would stop raining. Oh yeah where was I? Mud was everywhere...

My sister sometimes will go into Goodwill to see what they have in the used dishes area and see if someone has donated something worth $$$!! She has an eye for that. She’ll look it up and buy it if it is and resell it!!!! It’s only hit big-ish a couple of times, but that’s better than nothing!!! You never know what goodies are waiting!!! So many people just donate family members who have passed belongings without seeing what they are worth!

Clarissa, that is how I got my porcelain collection. I went around to goodwills for 6-8 months slowly collecting shabby chic teacups/ tea sets for my wedding. A family member noticed some of their value and they’ve been carefully tucked away ever since!

If not for the man who followed her, she would probably never know the ring's real value.

I don’t think if the ring was that valuable to me that I would have sold it. 😂 it found its way to her only for her to sell it for some moneys.
