Brothers and sisters never forget our oppressed brothers and sisters in your dua and raise awareness for them specially the uyghur brothers and sisters. Our brothers in kashmir are also in great pain. Also pray for the wellbeing of our brothers and sisters in afghanistan. Remember dua is the biggest strength of a believer. Our beloved prophet(sm) said ,'‘Whoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he is unable to, then with his tongue; if he is unable, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.’' Narrated by Muslim in his saheeh

In the Quran there are two words mentioned for "parents", one derived from "father" and the other from "mother". The former is mentioned when the verse has do with responsibilty, duties, inheritance, etc., and the latter when the focus is on treating parents with love and respect.

@mindexcursion98562 жыл бұрын
@@angcil88 is that what you call a Muslim telling the truth? Reformist. To my knowledge, Qadhi is the only Muslim of note who has made a video imploring Muslims to stop lying about Aisha's age. I think you will agree that the reformist are all the Muslims who tried to reform Aisha's age because they are ashamed that their Prophet of God could not see a problem with marrying a 6year old child. If a Muslim is saying that there are holes in the narrative, it probably means that the questions about Islam are getting harder and harder to get an answer for. Simply because the Quran does not give any evidence on any of its major claims. It was so funny the other day when Apostate Prophet went on the arena and challenged them about the Kaaba. One Muslim on the panel used evidence from the Bible and when A P mentions the Bible , he got shouted down by another Muslim who said they don't believe in the Bible.

The uniqueness of Mariam PBUH is not only because she was the mother of Isa PBUH, but because of who she was as well. Although she was very young, I think only 16 years old, she was very close to Allah. When she was in her solitary, Zakariya would visit her and find food that was out of season and when he asked where it came from, she said “It is from Allah, Surely Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit (Surah al-Imran 3:37).

Dr Celine is indeed an intellectual and is able to see the contradictions between the Quran and Muslim society and between the role Model of Prophet Muhammad as a husband and the leader in Medina and present day Muslim men while upholding Quranic model of role of men and women should be. However Quran is a book for guidance and wisdom for all times and it’s authenticity and relevancy will be more if the Quranic verses could be reinterpreted and applied to present society. We are seeing feministic movement within Muslim society is due to the fact they don’t find their place in present day patriarchal society and pushing them away towards secularism . Hadith is equally important as Quran whenever we talk of Woman in Islam. The narrations or Hadith help us to contextualise various otherwise complex and often “difficult verses of the Quran with regard to relationship between men and women in Islam. In particular narrations from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) are central in this aspect. Unfortunately the feminist discourse has parochialy focused only on Quran when talking about the women in Islam and has dogmatically like most orientalists discarded the Hadith as a later construction.

I will (GOD willing) protect my wife and children and try my best to be the best source of their rizq, providing for them and taking care of them, but in my household my wife is the boss and what she says go, primarily because she is smarter than me, wiser then me, and is an actual alima (Muslim scholar) who has studied Islam in traditionally. We play to our strengths, while at the base of it we maintain roles highlighted in Islam, because it works well. I have heard of a Hadith where THE Omar ibn Khatab, was kicked out of his house because his wife was angry at him, yelling at him, and a sahaba who witness this asked him why did he let this happen.. and he said she cooks for and she takes care of me, why wouldn’t I let her or be patient with her. .

It seems to me that the culture of Arabia at that time was that young men married older women and old men married younger women. And the reason seems to be that one being older meant that person had more wealth while the younger person was more active to do the work that needed to be done. It seems to me that the harsh environment required survival to be one of the major factors in getting married for many people in their culture.

And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise" And also surah 4 verse 34 which says that men are the maintainers and protectors of women

Have you read her book The First Muslim? My personal impression is the description of our Prophet in Madinah is (very subtly) not "kind", "biased" and even support the idea of him as power greedy, genocidal and lusty. However it may be due to my poor level of English, being overly sensitive or bias myself. Otherwise, the book is narrated in a very interesting way definitely (especially the Meccan part).

@@abdrahmanabdaziz319 Thanks. As I said, it is my personal opinion. I just feel un comfortable of the portrayal of Muhammad saw in Madinah in her book - her subtle dismissal of the act of treason by certain tribes.

@@sultrys2291 probably she's biased because of the qhurazah and kinaah tribes in Madina

@@abdrahmanabdaziz319 Exactly (Qaynuqa, Nadir and Qurayzhah). Otherwise, it is a good book and I don't doubt her depth of knowledge of the Prophet saw. However I do hope the readers double check all possible narratives as well. (Our responsibility to always counter check information that was brought to us).

Sure al-nisa verse 6 See the marriage age? And examine the orphans until they attain the age of wedlock, then if ye perceive in them and discretion, hand over unto them their substance, and consume it not extravagantly or hastily for fear that they may grow. And whosoever is rich, let him abstain, and whosoever is needy let him take thereof reputably. And when ye hand over their substance unto them, call in witness
