yes, they are a medical procedure and sometimes they are done after a woman has had a miscarriage and her body hasn't passed the baby however elective abortions are not done for medical reasons and are performed on a live fetus. they are done for the sake of the patient but why isn't the fetus considered a patient? If the women wants her baby suddenly that baby is a patient and his/her life and health are monitored by a doctor but if the woman doesn't want her baby then that baby becomes medical waste? doesn't add up.

I disagree with this because I have dealt with many atheists that try to argue me in circles to get me to give up. The biggest example is when I would make a truth claim supported by scripture they simply state "any religion can make that claim". I explain why every religion does make truth claims, but Christianity is the correct one because of these lists of reasons. After I state that they move on to another subject not actually denying my original claim and then when I defend the next claim they say "any religion can make that claim". It is still important to recognize when you argue in circles with someone, but that doesn't necessarily mean you don't have a valid response or you lost the argument.
