You were walking into what God called of you. It’s not fun at times, it’s self sacrificing, you can feel invisible and overlooked… but we are not to choose selfish ambition in the name of following Christ! The Enemy has destroyed the family inside the dead church! Everyone is trying to meet their own carnal selfishness and our marriages and children have been sacrificed! Thankyou for being obedient! You are a true, spirit filled believer!🙌🏻🔥

@ Sandra Miller Amen! My own mother thought (and probably still thinks) that I should be out there, raking in the way she did. She chose her career over me. She’s chosen a lot of things over me, to be honest. Even other people, although I’m her only child. They were more important. That’s just how it is, with a narcissist. I’ve never wanted my 3 to feel that way and I can lay my head on the pillow, with a clean conscience. I’ve been there every day, at all times and as long as I have breath, by the Grace of God, I will continue to be, as long as He allows. You made the right choice. I know I did, too. 🤍✝️💟🛐🤍

I still remember when I first met Jesus and started reading His Word. I thought...oh no...I can’t do that! How can I be a biblical woman? That sounds...awful. I repented right away, but the feeling stuck for awhile. Nonetheless I was determined to follow Jesus and not just read His Word as if it was a timeless pretty song , but instructions to act out. Now I had already had a desire to be a stay at home mom from childhood because my mother was and I wanted to be like her. But in practice, before I met Jesus, I was a disaster. It turned out I hated cleaning with a passion, was such a bad cook I had ptsd in the kitchen, and I refused to have more than one child because I nearly died giving birth and swore it off forever. So when Jesus pointed me back to being a housewife and housemom, I thought...are you sure...I mean, you know me! But then I started doing everything for the Lord. I was no longer cleaning my house for people who never said thank you and always wanted more and left a mess as soon as I removed the first one....I was no longer cooking because I had to feed people (which weren’t ever happy with my blackened creations that truly belonged in the trash) I was cooking because this pleased the Lord. I turned on praise music and stayed worshipping as I worked...and discovered...when I did this...I loved it all! I was dancing in the kitchen with Jesus. And while I’m still not the best cook, I’ve managed to find a few things I can cook well enough. But it’s the time spent with Jesus in obedience that makes it all work and keeps me from focusing on please and thank yous that were never said and food in the bin folded up in napkins. I also discovered how to submit to my husband. He might be my manager but I have direct open door access to his CEO (not to mention I’m His beloved daughter!). So instead of bickering with my husband, I just go to the CEO and plead my case. Sometimes, if not most times, it turns out I’m in the wrong. But many times God intervenes on my behalf and sorts things out as well. Anyway, being a biblical women turns out to be pretty cool! Another thing I’ll mention was that as I read the New Testament and specifically Paul’s instructions to women in the church I was also a bit...disappointed. I had all these ideas that I would be some great woman of faith and be a teacher like these other women I’d seen...but when I read the Word I deflated immediately. Well now what, I thought....what can I do? First God had to realign and refine my motives but eventually Jesus turned me into a prayer warrior. He even personally taught me about spiritual warfare. Which was terribly awesome by the way. Once I started walking in obedience to that...there was this time when Jesus let me see something I’m not sure I can share, but it made me rethink things from a new perspective. We ha no idea how powerful prayer and intercession can be because we can’t see the results 99% of the time. But just because we can’t see the results doesn’t mean they aren’t far reaching and full of power and significant contributions to the kingdom of God. It might turn out that the very things we see as small and low on the scale of importance when compared to the mighty men of faith...it might be the very thing that allows them to stand at all. Another benefit is since I do all this in private with God...well I’m not in danger of being puffed up by pride and all my reward is stacking up in heaven. I mean, that’s a huge thing!

I have been blessed today listening to this teaching from a man of God who has now entered his eternal rest. I have been convicted by the Holy Spirit and realise that submission does not mean we are inferior as the devil would have us to think. I think men and women have been misled as far as submitting to authority goes and by rebelling, many of us are missing out on Gods blessings. I have been a rebel since I was 15 years old and have always balked at authority. I have my reasons for not trusting people, but I am not staying on that path a moment longer. From this day forward, with helper, the Holy Spirit, I will submit to my role as helper and get on with helping as many people I can come to know Jesus. I will pray my husband through and help him every step of the way. I do not need the approval of the world, but rather long for my reward at the end of my race. Thankyou Jesus!

You do realize the bible never said a woman's role is a helper, right? 1Peter3:7 advises husbands to honortheir wives as heirs equal together, in Acts18:22-26 Priscilla worked with her husband to teach a rabbi the word. They both lead a church in 1Corinthians16:19. Philippians4:2-3 apostle paul preached together with 2 women....so look how the Holy Spirit uses women to work with man, not for man

Your not reading the scripture in context and in consideration to the different aim points of the writer and author. Study to show yourself approved .....two thing that may help: all persons are made up of Spirit, Soul and Physical Body in the same way the word is written in one of these direction, or two and/or all three and there are many more rules of interpretation and I don't plan on giving full a dis-course on the subject. Taking a bible interpretation course or two at your local CHRISTIAN college will help a ton and open your eyes to the whole picture. God Bless, Jim

Who is Qualified to Interpret the Bible? The BASIC Qualifications of the Interpreters of Scripture: A. We must have a heart regenerated by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3-5). Why? The natural man cannot understand the things of God (I Cor. 2:11-14; Rom. 3:11). 1. The sinful nature of man renders him incapable of understanding the truth (Rom. 3:10-11; 8: 3-9). 2. Man's love of darkness rather than light renders him unwilling to understand the truth (John 3:19-21; John 5:40). 3. Man's allegiance to Satan and to sin renders him rebellious against understanding the truth (John 8:43-47).

America's Nana from Texas by your prayers alone. How did God answer you?
@mchevalier-seawell4438
@mchevalier-seawell4438 4 жыл бұрын
America's Nana from Texas Helper is not the translation of the word in Genesis. It is ally, same word used for King Hiram, friend to King David. God gave them both dominion. The penalty of garden sin was death and that penalty was exacted. God did not add to the penalty because that would be unjust. He told Eve and Adam what would become of them, but He did not add more penalties. He told her that her husband would rule over her. The “I will” in that verse, Gen 3:16, is implied according to translations but is not actually there. if you ask translators, they say in good translation it is implied. But God is just. He could not have added to the death penalty. Man did this with their faulty translation to justify that they did rule over women, not God. I like Derek Prince, but the word was ally, not helper. Can you imagine having the death penalty exacted, but then the judge adds amputation of both hands and who knows what else. By statute the penalty was death. Period. God cannot break his own Word. I don’t believe He did.

I give women who stayed at home and raised their children and who kept their marriages together and their husband's work and gave the best they could and provided all my respect. I for one did not I left my husband and took on the role of both mom and dad and ran a business to support my children I worked 16-hour days and it was the hardest thing for me as a woman to do. And I tried to give them a better life than I had. Sent them to college to be indoctrinated the biggest mistake I made. Now my family is broken. If I would have known that I would have lost my children to this world I would have done things a lot differently. I left my father's home because he was an alcoholic and then married one. For you women that think you are equal to a man, you will find out that you are not. And if you think that you can do it all yourself you are wrong. And you will find that you will suffer mentally and emotionally and physically. Just asked me even though I did better than most single moms in the end I lost.

The amount of work is very difficult to do 7 days a week. Unfortunately the men in churches are not taking steps in faith to marry. I'm not angry at God. I could only do so much. It's great that the life you have is one that you're proud of. And nobody should shame you for it. However, if I may, I'd like to add a bit more to what you said, just for any curious people in this comment section who happen to read. One important thing more people should understand is that not every woman may feel the calling of marriage and/or motherhood in their life. Just like how not every man may feel the calling of fatherhood or husbandry. And that's okay. We are all individuals, created by God with our own unique tastes and personalities. None of us will ever be exactly the same. That said, there are also women who are not meant for relationships or parenting, but are better off single and pursuing more independent roles within society. That's fine too, and nobody should shame a woman for this either. Obviously the most important thing is, regardless of what path a woman walks in her life, she is still a woman after God's own heart. Meaning that she not only loves God and her neighbors, but also serves Christ by helping the people around her, healing and edifying them, and baring spiritual truths. Basically what pretty much every Christian is called to do.

@eliesh You may think that what you have said is good or sound doctrine, but the truth of the matter is that unless a woman is naturally barren and has no real desire to be otherwise she is called by God to be a mother and a submissive wife to a husband. What you have said is merely the first stage of demonic seduction by the Jezebel spirit. From there it will pull you and direct you down increasingly darker paths while you remain deceived and unaware that it is not God you are listening to but demons. Every woman from whom God has not removed the ability to have children is called to be a mother. Any Christian woman who denies this or defies it is in rebellion and her very soul is in danger, the role of a mother in the Kingdom is equal to the role of soldier and trainer in an army. Dereliction of duty and desertion are serious offenses in an army, and thus there are in the Kingdom.

As much as we loved his teachings, this is the one message that he got wrong. Funny you're all ooh'ing and ahhh"ing over a WRONG message. Where is GALATIANS 3:28 in this message do you not know that there is no male or female within the body of christ. The scriptures he is using for the husband and wife relationship, we're not meant to be used in a genderless body of christ. Why did he pick and choose which gifts that he thought women shouldn't use? Where ( in any of those contexts), did it ever say that some of these gifts only apply to men and why did it not tell you within that context which one only applied to men obviously he is simply giving you his opinion, and acting like it's the word of god. But , as a teacher and a pastor myself, I can give you scriptures that show where Derek made him his mistake in this particular teaching so it's strange to me that you would call out false teachings and not recognize that this very one that you are commenting on, is error I'm not saying Derek is a false teacher, because normally his teachings have been wonderful and very helpful. But, I am saying he's not perfect and he he did Miss it on this particular teaching

It’s 2022 almost 2023, and the state of our society is deplorable. We have generations of broken, messed up people due to the breakdown of the family unit and marriages dying. This is among Christians as well! All of us have sneered at Gods commandments and chose to live how we saw fit. We now have so many displaced children with no fathers in the home, and most mothers surviving at minimum by working~ some to fulfill the lie that a career will give you purpose and identity. It lied. Relationships are ending in extreme violence where Narcissism is abusive and Borderline Personality DIsorder’d mates can’t cope with rejection or abandonment due to childhood trauma and the breakdown in their own childhood.. Christians, true Believers, we are called to a different standard!! We are not our own god, but answer to Him alone! It’s not about our comfort, our pride, our way~ it’s about God healing a broken people thru obedience and repentant hearts. Sadly, we have forsaken our 1st love and replaced it with an Idol of Self. He’s awakening His chosen, either obey or don’t, but the cost is horrifying with all the violence against children, women, and some men. We did this. Our sin doomed this Nation. I have been repenting of my rebellious heart, due to pain from trauma, and not being the one that is called to SERVE others, just myself. It leads only to spiritual death. Repent, true Christian! Be on your knees in true humility. Rebuke pride back to hell and pray for a spirit of meekness and joy to replace the void. I am crying constantly at my choosing sin over Him. The world is so evil today from that sin of Self. I’ve been married for 31 years to my first love, waiting for marriage as well. He has a porn addiction due to cHildhood trauma in his family. We are both spirit filled believers, and I’ve been counseled to leave him, l because his sin is horrifying and God wouldn’t want that…. Yet! He’s calling me to Stand for my husband and marriage that satan so badly wants, because He will redeem my marriage and it will be by this Testimony of His supernatural power! Not me, Him. We are to be separate from the world and it’s opinions, God will call us to sacrifice what seems impossible, you can disobey, but it only leads to distruction ! Jesus! Have mercy! May true believers choose Truth over Flesh! 🙌🏻

I was churched in a reformed tradition that did and does not allow ordination of women as teaching or ruling elders and deacons. For a short time (due to marriage) I was associated with a denomination that was among the earliest in the modern age to vote to ordain women. The apostasy to which that denomination has sunk is appalling. I am sad that the Assembly of God did not heed Brother Prince's warnings on this subject and now allow women to be ordained. Other denominations have done so to their downfall. A prime example of this is the UMC schism.

Devorah/Deborah was a courageous woman follower of God - a judge - a mediator - a peacemaker between God's people, Israel (one who helped them to resolve their conflicts with one another); a wife; a prophetess. Deborah had a close Relationship with God; she was lead by the Holy Spirit, and because of her sharing God's instructions with Barak, and then, going into the battle with Barak (who did not want to go into the battle alone, without Devorah/Deborah), and those trained in war (although she, herself was not trained in war), Israel won that battle. More to the point, I said that women are MORE than just a husband's "helper." They are individuals in their own right, with their own aspirations, dreams, and personal life goals. These are pretty basic concepts here.. We're talking about human rights and Jesus was all about empowering the desempowered, such as women. These issues can only be resolved as we each live our lives empowered by the Holy Spirit - by our Faith in God, and onging surrender to Jesus and our Father God in Heaven; as we live with God's compassion for one another, in mutual submission to one another - rooted in the Lovingkindness of God - the laying down of our lives for one another, "considering others as more important than ourselves," without giving up the purpose God has called each of us to - allowing Jesus' Resurrection Life to live and work within us - in who we are, and through the good works God has purposed for each of us to do - pouring out God's Blessings on a world who needs to know HOW MUCH GOD LOVES each one, personally, as well as their peoples!

Well said. Derek was a very good parson, and explained the bible, so all who listen, could understand. Sadly their are many wicked people around the world, and we have a few on this thread who mock his teachings, and try to put his teachings as lies. Our farther in heaven came to Derek, and told him to do this work, and Derek done what god asked of him.

Awesome teaching. Not much people want to hear this truth. They come up with all sort of excuses. Very irritating. Why cant they just embrace the truth? I thank God for Derek prince, who was not afraid to tell the truth.

Precisely Esther. If scripture doesn't comply with how some wish to live their lives, they try to assert that scripture is wrong or being taken out of context. Mr. Prince is a wonderful teacher.

@Barbara Freeman The men were supposed to be stoned to death too. It takes two. Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die." Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."

@On TheEdge Don't leave out the rest of the story. The Bible tells man and wife to submit to one another and men are told to love their wives even as Christ loves us: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it" (Ephesians 5:25) clearly giving the example that Christ Jesus DIED for us. That is the greatest love you can have for another is to die for him/her.

@Barbara Freeman My understanding is that this was NOT done without first going through a court system -- not to anyone. I cannot judge the method; I don't even know much the difference. David got Goliath pretty good with just one stone.

There is a Difference between Edification and Administration. As body of Christ, we (Male & Female) must edify one another which involves preaching, prophesying and evangelizing, and the gifts of the Spirit. But when it comes to the Headship (Governing of the Church/Body of Christ), it is meant for Men as God as stated it. A woman can be a prophet, Evangelist and other offices excluding the Governing of the body of Christ (Administration) i. e The Apostles, Pastors,/Overseers and Teachers in the Church or Gathering of the Body of Christ. But outside the church we all are called to to the work of God to win souls both Men and Women. God bless

M Chevalier-Seawell There is no female apostle in scripture. On the disciples, Paul and Barnabas and a few other are specifically called apostles. And if you look at their tone trust me you wouldn’t want to be an apostle. Women can totally be evangelists though. People get those confused. Women are allowed to share the word of God. Jesus told us all to make disciples not just men. Women are not allowed to rule in the church though.

@@mchevalier-seawell4438 Yes, you're right - Junia - Romans 16:7 - "Make sure that my relatives Andronicus and Junia are honored, for they're my fellow captives who bear the distinctive mark of being outstanding and well-known apostles, and who were joined into the Anointed One before me."

Yes there is a difference between the Divine theology and Administrative theology. Be led by the Holy spirit in everything. If God has chosen you and commands you to go, who is man to stand against it. But let it only be done in humility and when you are ready and when God sends you.

Yes and in my opinion, a lot of soul winning happens outside of church administration anyway. Serving people and discipling outside of the church building has a long lasting effect in bringing people to Christ.

Almighty God has blessed me through Derek Prince these past 35 years. He has been an excellent biblical, topical teacher. God has also blessed me through David Pawson (of similar vintage) who teaches a whole book/letter of the Bible, at a time. His teachings can be accessed on Utube or better still through his website. He moved on from earth in May, 2020 @ 90 years of age. Taste and see that the LORD is good. Shalom ✝️🍞🍷💟 Maranantha!
