It's definitely tough at first explaining this. I was actually saying this last night to someone. That women have more emotional thinking process, atleast at first. You need emotional intelligence to lead and make decisions. This applies to anything. Men are more logical and less emotional. Both balance each other out.
@aq4356

@@papasul29 I think these kinds of statements need more clarification. Men can be just as emotional as women, a simple practical example would be domestic abuse ie. hitting ones spouse, majority of these abusers are men, and they do it out of emotion. I think what you're trying to say is that women tend to not control their emotions or they put emotions over rationality usually, I would agree, but I think a big factor to this is also how women are usually raised by their parents (more soft, forgiving, generous etc.), which is not always the case.

@@aq4356 it depends, lesbians have the highest domestic abuse per capita and much of it to men is unreported. the term womb and man go together to form what word? grls are insecure so it can lead to overgeneralizing and losing info or even not wanting to empower other... even not wanting to teach their kids when they have a feminist view, so leadership is for Sunni men who have the structure of din. h/e grls being sensitive can give different type of feedback to men esp. whom they are secure over, this triggers their hypergamy security so then grls feel comfortable and not masculine and both balance each other... and she turns to her family instead of the fake chivalry ideas of society which objectifies them for $, she is known as an individual person and bonds and submits femininely insecuirty to her husband so at a din level has her needs met in terms of being an individual taken care of and bonding with a family. Recall the hadith of the rahm, Allah said He will cut ties with those who cut ties with the rahm, the rahm comes from vulnerbility (preg) so likes strong leaders to feel secure and wants to bond - and best thing is to bond on din where the man leads and the girl gives feedback and they both grow in their worship & natural differences too, or is this wrong?

I think many of the youth see muslim daees and debators online and wish to be like them so they try to jump into the action head first without preparation which is detrimental

@@YusufAhmed-vd4ry the ayah itself in Quran is a note on the problems of power mongering which Armie's of men were looking to take her over by force. To which the line is mentioned of her thoughts on the cyclical problem of men and power. Perhaps either man or women everyone, wants a position of power. Let's look into Henry the 8ths daughters and see the problems of learning through power mongering which is similarly intertwined in religion too. As far as spiritual leaders I'm fairly certain two sides of the human species can have input. A man may be a leader of a community but a woman can also teach her children as well as other women and have some prowess of knowledge. Let's take the older version of Aisha for example, perhaps Rabbia Al adawaiyah, various intelligent minded persons of the past I can't think of their names. It's not seen as bad for women to have some mind, as this would be bias against Allah's creations.

Praise be to Allah. Positions of leadership and high public office means taking on the mission of establishing Islam by reviving religious knowledge and establishing its foundations, engaging in jihad for the sake of Allah - which includes preparing armies and distributing war booty - establishing the judicial system, carrying out judicial punishments (hudud), fighting oppression, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil, acting as a deputy of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). There is no dispute among the scholars that one of the conditions of the imam or leader is that he should be male. Ibn Hazam reported in his book Maratib al-Ijma’ that there was scholarly consensus on this point. In the section he says: “Out of all groups of the people of the Qiblah [i.e., all Muslim sects], there is not one that allows the leadership of women.” Al-Qurtubi reported something similar, and al-‘Allamah al-Shanqiti said, “There is no difference of opinion among the scholars on this point.” The evidence for this is the general meaning of the ayah (interpretation of the meaning): “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has made one of them to excel the other…” [al-Nisa 4:34]. It is also clearly indicated by the hadith of Abu Bakrah who said that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard that the Persians had appointed the daughter of Chosroes as their queen, he said, “No people who appoint a woman as their leader will ever prosper.” (Reported by al-Bukhari, 13/53). This is because positions of leadership and government require a person to join men’s gatherings, which is not allowed for women according to shari’ah because of the ayah (interpretation of the meaning): “And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance…” [al-Ahzab 33:33]. These positions also require perfect wisdom, reason and alertness, and the testimony of a man has been made equal to that of two women, the reason for which Allah has explained in the ayah (interpretation of the meaning): “… so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her…” [al-Baqarah 2:282]. Ibn al-Tin said: Those who say that a woman cannot be appointed as a judge use the hadith of Abu Bakrah as evidence, and this is the view of the majority.” With regard to other administrative positions, there is no shar’i reason why women should not be appointed to run institutions where they will work with other women and not men, because in this case there are no shar’i reservations about their work. There is no validity in what most modern writers say about how women have to go out and take part in parliaments and public councils, and that these are part of the rights granted to women by Islam. These writers have not examined the issue from the correct Islamic viewpoint. The truth is clear, but unfortunately they look at it with minds filled with the heretic trends of East and West. Therefore you see them weakened and defeated, dazzled by the false civilizations of those nations, then they come and misinterpret the texts and change the words from their right places until they agree with their whims. We ask Allaah to keep us safe and sound.

Women can be leaders of a group of women. Women can be entrepreneurs, they can be lecturers, they can be researchers, they can be whatever they like. But leadership is handed over to men, even though there are times when some women lose their intellectual abilities. However, when making decisions, women are often too influenced by emotions and do not think clearly, even though decisions often need to be made quickly and precisely. This is a weakness of women compared to men, but even so women can still be advisors and discussion partners for male leaders, so that women's aspirations can still be accommodated.

It makes sense if you think about it. A leader needs masculine qualities to be successful in their job a woman can never mimic such qualities to perfection becouse femininity is a nature Allah gave to them. Even if she does it will just couse whole lot of other damage. Imagine a feminine man, it wouldn't sit well, same if we flip it.

Yet somehow Talha ibn Ubaydullah and Zubayr ibn al-Awwam and several other companions who knew about this religion far better than any of us or after them did not see the leadership of Aisha as against the teachings of Islam... Let's also ignore all the other opinions of other scholars, including Imam Abu Hanifah, who allegedly said that women can indeed be governors or something similar. Although Ibn Hazm said that there is a consensus, (If I am not wrong) he said that this is not based on the Qur'an or Sunnah, so you failed to mention that. There are differences of opinion, and forcing your opinion as the 'ultimate opinion' is just going to make you look bad. Just like when he is trying to 'refute' the Malikis for laying their arms on their side, has he even studied the Maliki school broadly? But unless there is clear proof for this, and I really do not mind to accept the fact that only men can rule. 'We do not base our religion on conjecture.' - Ibn Hazm

@@hossamakarkach4429 1. If you're talking about the Battle of the Camel, Aisha was not a "leader", it's a misconception, she didn't lead an army, she didn't command the battle, she was part of the faction as an important figure. 2. Not every opinion in Islam is valid that's a basic principle in fiqh. Bringing up scholars who held a certain opinion is not a valid way of actually making an opinion valid, it's using the proofs they used.

@@aq4356 Several reports describe Aisha actively participating in the battle, leading a group of soldiers, and addressing both her own troops and the opposing forces.Unless you can bring me the evidences that these reports are weak, then should be a clear example of women leadership. As for the evidences. It is true that one of the principles of fiqh is that not every opinion is valid because it all is about the evidences. Some scholars have disputed regarding the interpretation of the hadith that Uthman quotes in his video, as some took it only relating to the historical context. Ibn Hazm himself said that there is no proof from the Qur'an or Sunnah for the consensus that scholars held regarding women leadership.

What scholars are you getting YOUR interpretation from and your understanding of hadeeth classification?
@stephenconnolly1830
@stephenconnolly1830 Жыл бұрын
@@hanbali1346 - The Hadith cited is definitely weak as it refers to a specific incident in Persia and can not, as literalists tend to do, be applied more generally without first understanding the nuances at work (it refers to the rapid change of Sasanian leadership at the time resulting in a young princess rising to the top position in Persia without due diligence). As for the citation of the Qur'anic Ayah #34 in Surah al-Nisa, the meaning is rendered thusly in translation "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women." This is not an evidence of prohibition and says nothing about leadership. A prohibited act requires a definite text or clear logical inference. This is not the case here. No general rule can be extracted from the Ayah forbidding women occupying leadership positions, in any capacity; the Qur'an merely states the expected, normative role of men towards women. However, it is obviously the case that when a woman is more capable she would have to protect and maintain her menfolk instead, for example if her husband is disabled etc. Reading the Ayah literalistically would appear to countermand this possibility. For reference, I recommend Prof. Abou el-Fadl as a suitably qualified scholar. His recently completed Project Illumine Qur'an commentary on KZfaq (Usuli Institute channel) covers these issues in detail. It is a masterpiece which Muslims need to acquaint themselves with.
