I don't think they did it to create a "narrative", i think they solely did it to avoid a tie between the guy in 1st and 2nd place. They both probably rounded up/down to 8 inches. One guy was probably like 7.8 and the other guy was obviously 8.2, both rounded to the nearest inch would be 8 and result in a tie for 1st place. They likely didn't do this for the guys who both got 6 inch because a tie for a middle spot doesn't matter, but in the context of "competition" most people do not like a tie for 1st place. That's likely the only "narrative" manipulation going on. You're not wrong about the data collection methods you describe, i just don't think the intent is as nefarious as you make it out to be at the end.

Right? I feel like that’s weird they stuck with a sample that confirms that bias. Statistically there’s little evidence that penis size and race actually correlate. Anecdotally, from talking to the girlies and my own experience, it doesn’t really correlate to that extreme, definitely not by 3-4 inches anyway

Definitely, the one lady in the video kinda talked about it, but the problem with penis size data collection is that a lot of men lie if they have to self report their size and lots of men with smaller dicks don't volunteer to be a part of studies around this usually because society puts so much shame on them. But men with average/above average dicks are more likely to show up to studies and/or more likely to self report. So the data on this will basically always and forever be very skewed.

This is a repeat issue with studies and penile length. If you tell men what exactly you're going to be measuring prior to taking measurements the average is pretty consistently above 6in usually by 0.25-0.5in which for this sample it's almost 6.7in for the average. Studies where men self report their measurement showed 6.25"-6.5" Studies where men were promised condom recommendations show ~5.75" Studies where the randomly selected men who previously agreed to be studied and then allowed to opt out after finding out what was being studied are closer to 5.5" Studies where men with ED were randomly selected to see if there's a correlation to penis size show about 5.1" for average size (when given something like viagra) Studies where soldiers in Korea were measured and not allowed to drop out showed less than 5" for average. All of these measurements are bone pressed mind you, so measuring from the pelvic bone (pressing down into the fatpad) to the tip of the penis along the top. Otherwise you would run into the issue of average BMI in samples shifting the outcome.

In my experience that’s the one and only thing where correlation does exist: between ethnicity and size. It’s not always the case, but yeah, I could tell a lot of tales where that stereotype is real, and only a few where it ended up being BS..
