Imagine there is Muslim women with no Mahram in her family (They died etc) The people in comments would prefer she should die out of starvation at home rather than going out and work. Shame on Muslims for playing 'God' by deciding who will go to hell (nauzubillah), forcing religion on everyone and using religion in wrong way to control their womens. Seriously, Allah gave us Mahram to make us feel safe and protected but we feel unsafe by our own men. Brother and sisters, there are term and conditions for men too, when they go outside to work. In 21st century, y'all are complaining about world becoming mixed and here men is scared of men. We gotta keep our boys safe too, so they doesn't get sexual harassed by another man

As long as your faith and ethics are strong, you will not allow anyone to harm you. There are actually certain professions where women are required. Gynacologist, female doctor, female police, female teacher etc. It is best to avoid jobs in which mix-gathering is required, but women can still do it if they follow all the terms & conditions of Islam. Men have to follow them too! If a woman can do an online business, she should always avoid jobs that involve mix-gatherings. Hazrat Khadija(RA) was a business woman too.

It is also necessary to point out that "mixing" between both genders in a certain way is forbidden for both men and women and not women alone. Mixing within certain limits and restrictions is allowed for men and women. Jobs that require any type of forbidden mixing are still haram for men to do. Also, a woman is free to decide whether she wants to work or not as long as the work she desires is in a halal environment. In the very example cited, the women who went "to work" was out of necessity that their father was elderly, and stopped when Musa (AS) had married one of them, as he then took those duties. And Even then, as they "went to work," the Qur'an explicitly explains that they did NOT free mix as the workplaces of today frequently require. They purposefully waited for the men to leave the well. Edit: ALSO add that they did NOT do even a hint of tabarujj as the example in the Quran clearly teaches as an example for women to follow. They walked behind Musa (AS) as a non-mahram, and guided him by minimal speech. Please use the citation exactly as its presented. TEXT OVER CONTEXT.

I made a video (you can’t see it now because I deleted my channel) that was basically about how children act in the masjid, it was supposed to be a funny joke but someone took it to seriously and said “why are you going to the masjid when you’re a woman? The prophet (saw) said women should pray at home” and “you shouldn’t bring children to the mosque regardless because they’ll disturb people who are praying”. I told them as nicely as I could that Muhammad (saw) like children going to the mosque and said you should never ban women from going to the mosque. I usually go there because my father goes to the mosque and so do my siblings and my mother sometimes goes but usually she stays home because she’s cooking or taking care of our cats. She always encourages me to go because she always says that she wants me to get the full reward. They just got mad and kept saying that women SHOULD be ban from mosques because they belong at home. I tried to reason with them but they wouldn’t listen. And that was why I ended up deleting my channel because they were being disrespectful and tried to play “god”. It’s not up to us to say that women should stay home and not do anything, we still get the rewards of praying in the mosque regardless. May Allah forgive these people and help them see that Islam doesn’t say that women belong in the kitchen. I’m not a feminist but I know that women still have rights in Islam because it’s not like how others perceive it to be. May Allah guide us all and forgive our sins. Ameen.

It's refreshing to listen to a more balance opinion than the one that is more heavily to one side. No matter what side it is. Woman can't work just doesn't make sense to me. Mixing also doesn't make sense to me, basically mixing of gender in today's time has been the norm, especially in work place - i mean there is both woman and man, doesn't mean there's no segregation. Also, people need to think if all woman doesn't work, than who would cater to woman's need? For example nurses or doctor. Who would a woman ask about illness specific to female? Male doctor? What about clothing? What about crime related to woman? No female police officer? Just what the heck with this mentality.

Majority of the countries are not Islamic how is “women to serve women only “environment going to work? As a dentist in an western country I cannot say “ I will only treat women patients “ . That will be better, that they may be known and so not be bothered. And Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful. There are conditions to be observed, which is important and essential It's not like it's Halal to work in mixed place where the Muslim woman would be sitting next to men and chating, or she is dressing nice to show her body, wearing makeup, perfume, high heels And to be honest, as a woman, I think it's soooo hard for us not to do these things, so we can try working from home, not because we are repressed, but because most work environments these days are absolutely not Halal, like which job will allow you to keep your niqab, and not to "look and sound" attractive?? She is never closer to Allaah than when she stays in her house.” Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan and Ibn Khuzaymah; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Shaheehah, no. 2688. “And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance” [al-Ahzaab 33:33]. This ayah is addressed to the wives of the Prophet ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم but they are examples for the women believers. And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said concerning a woman’s prayer in the mosque: “Their houses are better for them.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (567) and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood. The wife of Ibn Mas’ud ‏رضي الله عنه said to him “ will you not get me a jilbab?” In which his reply was “sufficient for you is the jilbab that Allah has covered you with your house” (ibn abi dunya islah al-mal pg. 70) I expect people to respond to my comment “which refers the general norm/ruling in regards to this matter) with “what if this?” Or “what if that?” As I see often in these comments. The reality is for the women, that they are closest to Allah when they are in their homes as shaytan beautifies them as they leave the home. But “what if she needs this?” Or “what if she needs that?”

@astrivingbrother1012
@astrivingbrother1012 Жыл бұрын
@@avagray9705 i didn’t say it’s haram. With the evidence I have given, it’s clear the foundation and most preferred is that a woman being home is how she attains the pleasure of Allah, thus being granted jannah insha’Allah. The general is that the men are the maintainers and providers of their womenfolk as mentioned in the Quran. As also mentioned in the ahadith i quoted in my comment, the home is better for her, and her merely just going outside, shaytan beautifies them. Can a woman work? Yes if certain conditions are met, but the standard and foundation is man working and providing.

I have done both and have come to realize that being a housewife in this day and age is better. A woman today cannot divide herself and give everything in each aspect be it career, family, wife etc. I now realize that my family is happiest when I am home. Everything runs smoothly. I am able to be there for my kids, my husband and also myself without stress. My marriage was always full of love even during my working times however I feel something has changed even for the better because we respect each others sacrifices even more. There are circumstances where women have to work if one income is not enough. May Allah make it easy on those women. However my experience is more for the woman who do not have to work and provide financially. The ideology of career is a waste of time because most are doing it not for themselves but rather because it is expected of them. Feminism is ruining families. Many may not agree with me but I would sacrifice my career anytime and instead get the reward from Allah because I am here to serve my family. Basically the way Allah wants it.

We should seek knowledge from the scholars who have learned from previous scholars who have also learned from previous scholars. Truly we are in times of fitnah. Many Shaykhs but little knowledge, the basis according to majority of scholars is that women should stay at home. Their prayer is best prayed in the inner most corner of her house. There is necessity and need which allows women to leave the house such as attending Friday prayers etc. But staying at home is the basis. It is not ridiculous and we should be afraid of our speech when talking about the Deen of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. And Success is only with Allah. May Allah guide us all.

Your example from the Quran is misleading. The two girls went out and did the work cuz their father is old and weak. And these are the guidelines. If there are no mahram men who can work, and there’s fear of starvation, then women can go work. That’s according to Islam. You don’t need to stroke westerner’s feelings by misquoting and misleading our religion. There are many reasons why this is the case. Work on explaining the reasons instead of misinterpreting Islam

Women can definitely go to work. No problem. But if their husband wants them to not work and stay at home and take care of the house and the children then she can't work. She has to obey her husband or divorce him(if she still wants to work). I don't think i need to explain this . @@sandhikneaj7029 No,I know men respect their wives in Islam but the housewife vs working woman is a common issue faced by every woman... I like your thinking that women can definitely go to work and I just want you to never force ur wife to leave her job.Better to make it clear what you want a housewife or a working wife before marriage cuz you don't have any right to force her to leave her job even if u are her husband. Only she has the right no one else has. If you really want both of u to be happy in a relationship then you can find a solution and make adjustments for everything just by having a proper communication. It's not just a job,it is a dream for someone,the dream that a 4-5 year old soul carried in her eyes,worked 10-15 hours daily to achieve it and then her life partner with whom she has to spend her whole life,apart from whom no one in the world is going to support her,understand her will take away her dreams...she will be completely broken if the person whom she expected to support her in this situation the most will suddenly turn against her and destroy her dreams....her years of hardwork,her purpose will be ruined. No,no innocent soul needs to suffer that.

@@agajaa2459 I understand what you mean. First of all i will only marry a woman who practices Islam like i do. I won't settle for less than that. She has to be a practicing Muslim like me or more than me. That's one. Secondly if she is a practicing Muslim she will know what her rights are and what my rights are as a husband according to Islam. If these things are followed i will never face a situation where my wife will want to work without my permission. But for arguments sake. Let's say a Muslim man faces such a situation where his wife wants to work even when her husband doesn't want her to work. What should he do then? He will talk it out with her parents. If that doesn't work out. Then he has the full right to divorce such woman who is disobedient to her husband. As for a Muslim woman who wants to follow her dreams( Given that she also practices Islam) then she has to marry a guy who has no problem with her working. If she is not a practicing Muslim in the first place then she should marry a disbeliever.
