@williamessex3518

Absolutely, it was a charge. I'm surprised the commentators didn't say anything about the blatant elbow she threw while running over the defender. The female commentator tried pretending it was incidental contact with the ref. It was so obvious and yet it took almost 10 minutes to announce the call. I like some NCAA women's college basketball, UConn particularly. I don't really care for the wnba. This is truly the first video I've seen of the wnba all season. In my opinion, women's college basketball is a much better game to watch.

@rd9067 I'm not disputing whether the defender was in a set position. What I'm saying is the offensive player led with an aggressive forearm which is clearly illegal. The officiating in the WNBA is overall poor to say the least and what’s the idea of the cop only on one side.

This is ridiculous the ref should be near the side line and they them self stay out out the way of play. It should be casual or incidental. She got fouled was still in her motion and ref got in the way. This is why I don't watch any sports anymore. They can take it off the air won't matter to me.

A ridiculous amount of time to make the call. I'd have walked out. They need to get some actual better officiating.

Good for the officiating crew. Players in all sports need to check themselves. Should be zero tolerance. Looks like the lesson was missed though

Nah im sorry the ref literally walked into her stopping space. How are yall blaming her for touching the ref? The ref did not need to walk up that much to her... even so her body was already turning before the ref and her made contact. This is a horrible call.

Wait a minute! Did her offense result in her team losing the game? The score was 90 to 90 when the offense occurred. It would have been beautiful if the resulting free throws lost the game for the attacker's side.

Cheap ejection what fragile ego those officials have, next time don’t step forward towards a player if you don’t want contact

It could have gone either way! She should have attempted to avoid the ref BUT the ref also didn't make any attempt to avoid the contact. It looked as if she leaned the shoulder back and brought it forward also.

The foul was called and no need to get in the refs face or even walk that way. The ref is doing her job walking towards the spot of the foul and the shoulder was lowered into the ref so it got her off balance a bit. Good call. Camera doesn't lie
