More Americans are now employed than ever recorded before in our history. We have created more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs since my election. Manufacturing jobs growing at the fastest rate in more than THREE DECADES. Economic growth last quarter hit 4.2 percent. New unemployment claims recently hit a 49-year low. Median household income has hit highest level ever recorded. African-American unemployment has recently achieved the lowest rate ever recorded. Hispanic-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded. Asian-American unemployment recently achieved the lowest rate ever recorded. Women’s unemployment recently reached the lowest rate in 65 years. Youth unemployment has recently hit the lowest rate in nearly half a century. Lowest unemployment rate ever recorded for Americans without a high school diploma. Under my Administration, veterans’ unemployment recently reached its lowest rate in nearly 20 years. Almost 3.9 million Americans have been lifted off food stamps since the election. The Pledge to America’s Workers has resulted in employers committing to train more than 4 million Americans. We are committed to VOCATIONAL education. 95 percent of U.S. manufacturers are optimistic about the future-the highest ever. Retail sales surged last month, up another 6 percent over last year. Signed the biggest package of tax cuts and reforms in history. After tax cuts, over $300 billion poured back in to the U.S. in the first quarter alone. As a result of our tax bill, small businesses will have the lowest top marginal tax rate in more than 80 years. Helped win U.S. bid for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Helped win U.S.-Mexico-Canada’s united bid for 2026 World Cup. Opened ANWR and approved Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines. Record number of regulations eliminated. Enacted regulatory relief for community banks and credit unions. Obamacare individual mandate penalty GONE. My Administration is providing more affordable healthcare options for Americans through association health plans and short-term duration plans. Last month, the FDA approved more affordable generic drugs than ever before in history. And thanks to our efforts, many drug companies are freezing or reversing planned price increases. We reformed the Medicare program to stop hospitals from overcharging low-income seniors on their drugs-saving seniors hundreds of millions of dollars this year alone. Signed Right-To-Try legislation. Secured $6 billion in NEW funding to fight the opioid epidemic. We have reduced high-dose opioid prescriptions by 16 percent during my first year in office. Signed VA Choice Act and VA Accountability Act, expanded VA telehealth services, walk-in-clinics, and same-day urgent primary and mental health care. Increased our coal exports by 60 percent; U.S. oil production recently reached all-time high. United States is a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957. Withdrew the United States from the job-killing Paris Climate Accord. Cancelled the illegal, anti-coal, so-called Clean Power Plan. Secured record $700 billion in military funding; $716 billion next year. NATO allies are spending $69 billion more on defense since 2016. Process has begun to make the Space Force the 6th branch of the Armed Forces. Confirmed more circuit court judges than any other new administration. Confirmed Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Withdrew from the horrible, one-sided Iran Deal. Moved U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. Protecting Americans from terrorists with the Travel Ban, upheld by Supreme Court. Issued Executive Order to keep open Guantanamo Bay. Concluded a historic U.S.-Mexico Trade Deal to replace NAFTA. And negotiations with Canada are underway as we speak. Reached a breakthrough agreement with the E.U. to increase U.S. exports. Imposed tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum to protect our national security. Imposed tariffs on China in response to China’s forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and their chronically abusive trade practices. Net exports are on track to increase by $59 billion this year. Improved vetting and screening for refugees, and switched focus to overseas resettlement. We have begun BUILDING THE WALL. Republicans want STRONG BORDERS and NO CRIME. Democrats want OPEN BORDERS which equals MASSIVE CRIME.

If you’re a minority who looks conventionally attractive and says the same talking points, the GOP and institutional right will hire them on the spot. There's an article about her from 2014 about her contradictions on the diplomat. Now the excuse made then was, Her language barrier with english. The problem with that statement is she told the same lies in Korean on South Korean TV which baffled the host of the show. The best part is she did a full 180 and when investigated, her real story came out. On a South Korean TV show Park Yeonmi told the audience that her family was doing extremely well and that her mother was wearing pants that ‘were all imported from Japan’ and added, ‘My mum even carried around a Chanel bag in North Korea.’ They didn't ask her to play any role, that's why it was a shocker to the South Korean public, She did a 180 on what they expected. They never propped her up to be privileged, that crap came out of her mouth after she became famous. So doing a 180 and asking your mom on networked TV "Am I really North Korean, these other people seem poor"!!! *But after she started being coached by a Seoul-based American anti-DPRK think tank Freedom Factory along with other right wing/pro imperialist Think Tanks / NGO's (Atlas Network, Oslo Freedom Forum, Human Right Fundation, etc) who hired/paid/taught her what kind of horror stories she should tell about the DPRK, her narrative completely changed.* That’s when she started claiming she was so poor that she had to survive eating grass, that she saw dead bodies floating in North Korean rivers (where she previously said to have had fun together with her friends), promoting how she was starved while saying she never was poor? and other gibberish. The host lost his composure and looked confused AF. Then having her mom says "oh those stories of her eating grass ect that never happened." HuH??? was the whole crowd, audience and hosts. She then became the media darling for several years and her new narrative turned out to be very lucrative for her. I also noticed that she talks a lot of crap about South Korea and says that she moved to America because they were oppressing her there. I think they were just catching on to her BS and she had to try lower hanging fruit - To be fair a lot of defectors struggle in South Korea due to discrimination, economic and social problems, etc. a fair amount even want to return to North Korea, and some have. However, I highly doubt Yeonmi faced anything remotely oppressive in South Korea, being a rich girl funded by every alphabet agency in America. It’s likelier that she said something stupid, the South Korean media picked up on it, called her out on her bullshit, and asked her who her CIA handlers are South Korea tends to be sympathetic towards North Korean defectors, especially if they are ardently anti-North Korea. However, Yeonmi’s story is so full of holes that the South Koreans do not take her seriously, nor do they respect her. *All she seems to do is make up grandiose stories to get more clickbait, and to promote a neocon agenda,* rather than actually helping North Korean refugees. Other defectors want nothing to do with her, and she has been reduced to making all of her content in English because she knows that no Koreans will ever take her seriously again, and that only Americans will believe anything she says (much like they believed Saddam ground people into burgers with a meat grinder and had nukes pointed at America). The money is to good to pass up, even if that means lying and embellishments. She is not the first to sell out, but so much was learned from watching her blatantly lie and try to cry without crying throughout the whole show. In a way it's good to have a liar on record when she gets exposed again.

Hello sparkle, you seem like a nice young person but in need of adult help distinguishing between a nice lady in a red jacket and an inept interviewer who could have done so much more for the interested, empathetic, listening audience. I find it gently amusing that you saw the nice lady in the red jacket amazing while I caught my dumb self yelling at her to shut-up. Ain't I funny. For starters the nice lady in the red jacket talks too much; that means she uses far too many words Sparkle, to coax a simple answer. Additionally she fails to assist this delicate and scarred young woman in telling her horrendous story. So many times the listening audience needed help translating the simple, tearful anxious words pouring forth that were softly clouded with an inadvertent accent so as to be indiscernible. In other words dear Sparkle, we had trouble understanding all of it and we needed help but none was forthcoming. Now, don't get upset with me, as we both agree that this nice lady in the red jacket is genuinely concerned , thoughtful, caring, etc, etc. But she ain't what we need right now. So stop it with the misplaced adulation. I suspect you thought the subject a delicate one as did I and everyone else . The idea here is for you to learn to distinguish between what is sweet and what is RIGHT. I get tired of trying to help so many misplaced feelings types as I'm sure they grow tired of me, Funny ain't it. Oh well, life is fun that way. Listen up Sparkle. I suspect the nice lady in the red jacket has the same interviewing style for any western pop video star. How nice, sweet and quaint. If you're reading through this sarcasm sparkle you're starting to understand my failure to share your feelings of amazement, your words not mine, about the nice lady in the red jacket. Hope this finds you somehow or some gentle soul tells you I've written. Have a nice life Sparkle. Love you. Write anytime for additional help. love, love, love.

+Bee Don't forget, her family was also equally corrupt. She's merely trying to get revenge because her family lost their privileges. If her father was never imprisoned, she would still be living a privileged life in the hermit kingdom of North Korea. And some people are just listening to her b.s., despite the MANY inconsistencies in her stories. Remember one thing... people of privilege will do anything to maintain that lifestyle. Why do you think her dad became so wealthy from the underground business? Some people are unable to look carefully, because they have never lived in Asia nor understand the culture. Do you understand how much psychological counseling North Korean defectors usually must go through once they are in South Korea? This girl just happens to be well-educated because of her former social status in the DPRK, and she can communicate. Even she admits that she doesn't know what "love" means. She is a classic example of a master manipulator. She was "so poor", but somehow she can wear name brand clothes and study a masters in the US as a non-resident (which means she will pay 2.5 to 3 times the tuition in American universities). North Korea is an oppressive regime. This is a fact. But please understand, the elite class of North Korea have a very privileged life with plenty of food, name brand clothes, wealth, etc. You think she would be here doing all these things now if her father had never gone to prison in North Korea? Please don't lie to yourself.

fyi foreigners come to the u.s.a and attend college for free and the middle and poorer classes taxes pay for it and as citizens we have to pay tuitions that take a life time to repay. as for the rest of her story I can not say. Plus, if Chinese authorities find someone from North Korea who escaped, they bring them right back to North Korea, where they are tortured and put into either concentration or labor camps, depending on their “crime”. The treatment of women in particular in the interrogation process is horrendous. Sadly, many of the North Korean refugees living in China are women, who were forced to flee in order to work as a prostitute or labor worker in China so they can support their family in North Korea. And it is not easy to be a hiding North Korean refugee in China, as Chinese officials are constantly checking IDs and whether or not someone speaks Chinese. I cannot BELIEVE that both North Korea and China have been allowed to get away with this for years now.

Instead, we put that energy towards banning mean words and hounding people for misgendering someone, all while we double down and continue ignoring the big things that take away basic human rights because it’s not happening to us personally…. However, it can and will gradually get worse and worse the more people continue to dig their heels into the ground and believe the comforts and freedoms we have now will be forever instead of actually being temporary. We’ll continue to double down with that very same thought process of “but I’M not affected by it, so that means it’s not that big of an issue”. Before we know it, we’ll be in those same positions that evil is done to wishing we had someone speaking up for _us_ much like how we could’ve done for others and ourselves long before letting it get this far. The thing is, no one does….because others continue the pattern of “it’s not happening to me, but that’s just how cruel life is and there’s nothing that I can personally do about it”. It’s a horrible mindset and could easily be changed if people stopped taking what they have for granted and and saw the bigger picture *outside* of their bubble, especially Western countries - need to see things beyond race, gender, sexuality, rich vs poor, etc. None of that is going to matter one single bit when you’re under the rule of a dictator who can comfortably discard you like trash and can easily see you as nothing more than a mere worker who doesn’t even deserve the basic freedoms or rights. To see so many right now in a first world country cheer on the idea of censoring “bad words”, arresting people for “misgendering”, calling for segregated schools and spaces because “white bad”, applauding when corporations take part in political schemes and exchange money for quid pro quo because “they said and did the thing that I agree with!”, are eager to tell on anyone to a higher authority if it means they’re dealt with like the “scum” they’re made to be, cutting out family over politics, and encouraging the idea of giving socialism/communism a shot…. it’s honestly just sad.

A despicable story and hard to imagine, here's one of the many regrettable paragraphs I picked up from her book... ""One of the big problems in North Korea was a fertilizer shortage. When the economy collapsed in the 1990s, the Soviet Union stopped sending fertilizer to us and our own factories stopped producing it. Whatever was donated from other countries couldn’t get to the farms because the transportation system had also broken down. This led to crop failures that made the famine even worse. So the government came up with a campaign to fill the fertilizer gap with a local and renewable source: human and animal waste. Every worker and schoolchild had a quota to fill. You can imagine what kind of problems this created for our families. Every member of the household had a daily assignment, so when we got up in the morning, it was like a war. My aunts were the most competitive. “Remember not to poop in school!” my aunt in Kowon told me every day. “Wait to do it here!”............................ What a Story, my heart melted when I read these scenes, I'd really love to hear what her sister and other younger dreamers went through.

Priscila Lee These suggestions are rediculous and obviously made by people who have never traveled. At present the only realistic way of helping North Koreans, is first to fully educate yourself on North Korea, the people and their Dictator regime. Then if you still wish to help them or others in similar conditions, then see if you can apply to Human Rights to work with them or similar groups such as UNICEF or United Nations. Provide you have qualifications that can be of assistance. Many people don't realize the plight of girls and young women, everywhere around the world. North Korea would be the most oppressed people in the world but to help the people, first the regime needs to change before much else can be done. Kim Jong Un is bringing condemnation down on himself with his Nuclear threats. The next few months or the next year will be interesting to see what will happen. In the meantime women and children worldwide, also need so much help in freeing them from sex traffickers. This includes the enormous number of children that go missing around he world. On top of that is the atrocities that continues to happen against girls and women in India, where the rate of rape is so high. On top of that is the rising tide of Muslim women who are trying to free themselves from Muslim imposed oppression under the guise of their cultural heritage. Yes, Muslim women are starting to see the light, that they are nothing but sexual chattle that belong to their men, where women have no voice, no freedom. On a less grander basis, there are groups within our own Communities that desperately need assistance. There are the Homeless, Runaway children, those forced into sex work, all in order of survive. Building up, depending on qualifications in the right direction, there is Refugee Camp Workers who are always in great demand. Remembering hard times are moving in on those in the northern hemisphere as winter is approaching. I am sure, all these groups would be happy to hear from you. Just remembering, you may find it changes your life, if accepted into these organizations. If all this is above what you are wanting to do, there is always Red Cross. Stepping down but as important is fundraising. It has to be done by approve fundraisers who have permits and associated paperwork clearances worldwide. There are other groups, just as important on smaller scales such as Health Ships that go into areas that need medical assistance. Most time those types of groups are also looking for able body people to assist along side the Health Carers. There are numerous opportunities, if you are genuine.

The way how she describes the experience as she learns and sees things in the free world for the first time just amazes me. God made her survive and live to tell the tale, because she had an important mission to open the world’s eyes with whats happening in North Korea and at the same time see the “heaven” we normally take for granted. God bless her lovely soul. North Korea’s freedom and its people will always be in my prayers from now on. 🙏🏼

*"How can anyone think this clown is telling the truth."* Yeonmi is a paid, celebrity "witness." The Diplomat did a write up of her about how her stories do not line up, and they have the receipts. It’s is fabricated, unfortunately. I know that perspective is difficult and unfair, it seems, but that’s the point of such a story perfectly tuned over time to appeal to your emotions. If you need more proof look at the Greyzone video with Max Blumenthal, and another further report he did previously. There is a literal TV program in South Korea where North Korean defectors compete with their lavishly embellished escape stories to win.. it’s a game show. Yeonmi Park has personally made almost $1,000,000 telling her story. Her story changes massively. One of the most crucial changes in her story from the initial tv interview is that her father was initially with her when she left N.K.. later she said it was only her mom that was with her, in order to weave in the part where her mom is raped to save her from that assault- a much more heart-wrenching progression. Says she was poor but slips up by saying she grew up with her mum having chanel handbags🥴....how can anyone think this clown is telling the truth. Anything she says is suspect, as she could easily be grifting Rightwing media. The story is she stole other defectors stories. She was a high ranking person in DPRK (according to one version they claimed) and did escape (probably through bribes). She steals other people’s stories to make her story sound more sensational. you will always see someone trying to be over dramatic and get attention and fame by making the story 100 times worst. Did she go through horrible things? We don't know. Did she use other peoples stories and exploit them as her own? Yes, 100 percent. She's definitely from North Korea and she definitely "escaped" but I'm pretty sure she's laying the story on thick because her whole career depends on it. It's her livelihood. She's Korean Elizabeth Holmes. She arrived here in South Korea and used the refugee system in every way, got free education, numerous plastic surgeries including breast implants, appeared on TV to find a rich man, failed, then rehearsed years for the show targeting foreign countries. They never escaped to Mongolia. Her mother never raped, and they were never kidnapped/captured as sex-slaves! And her father never was or died in China! The whole story/ her book is pure fabrication. I can document it! But I am not aware of their real life/ story! I just know that they are lying! She lied about her father's death, and got exposed by North Korean government, so she had to admit it (in silence! few people were paying attention to it). Here you go : "But North Korean government came after me and described me that I didn't suffering in North Korea and also they said that my father died in North Korea not in China, and they say that I was an very ambitious girl because he gripping ambitious extremely bad thing and they say you are an ambitious girl, and your father was a bad person, and your mom was immoral person............But they didn't really come up with a like big thing *except my father died in North Korea* and my father's ashes were in China, and my mother went to China a few months ago and brought my father's ashes to South Korea." You are a brave heart, honest and sincere soul. You being a girl and being subjected to such pain ..was just destined and unfortunate earlier ..yet ...it has somehow made you victorious in your quest. I am very happy for you. I am utterly sad about the other traumatic souls in North Korea..who have such oppressions in their lives. Keep up your good work...and I hope the world realises that something needs to be done urgently. We all have one life to live..and that is a precious gift given by the supreme human creator. No person has the right to take away that freedom from anyone.
