I disagree. If a man really values you, he WILL remember what you like. You won't have to remind him 5,000 times like a surrogate mommy. If he takes you for granted, he'll care about his sports or video games more. I've seen the difference personally. Don't settle for men who don't have any softness to them, that's just not a good deal.

Men have a great memory capacity for things that matter and can even be super focused For exemple: They can remember all the players of the football league, the transactions, date and time of the games. If his partner is important he will remember and if he's unfocused, add or something he would use notes and alarms to remember
@QueenKaeOfficial
@QueenKaeOfficial 5 ай бұрын
Yes true, but also that can happen sometimes, it's key to not treat the person like crap over it cause sometimes( i say sometimes cause i mean the people who fr care not people who don't care like you were saying) they really do care and just need a reminder, but I agree on most things should be remembered. Nobody is perfect everyone makes mistakes NOBODY has a perfect memory, and if you destroy a whole relationship just cause the other person forgot your favorite color or preference of something and just need a reminder? That's just toxic. But the rest of what you said is so so true!❤️ I really believe once someone is set in their ways and they are fine with themselves like that then they aren't gonna ever change so theres no point in putting all your effort into someone who isn't willing to put the same in for you❤️
@QueenKaeOfficial
@QueenKaeOfficial 5 ай бұрын
Also! I would like to add that's probably more of a foggy area with things because of some people have more problems with memory than others, short term, long term, from birth, sudden onset, concussions, dementia, and also trauma and ptsd or cptsd. And if you don't know if you or your partner had those sort of problems people might blame the person instead of understanding the underlying problems and working through them together.
@rwdswght4057
@rwdswght4057 5 ай бұрын
@@QueenKaeOfficial oh, nobody is advocating for treating somebody like crap. I would say if your partner forgetting things which are important to you, you can pull back some of your energy, too. A healthy relationship is an equilibrium. He gives less, you give less. Instead you use that extra energy on yourself. It's important to nurture the relationship you have with yourself, too, so that's extra time and energy you take back. Nagging would just not be a good use of personal energy, as that would still be "putting energy in," and running the risk of not getting results.

I don’t know… I think it’s ok to know that men need reminders and more guidance when it comes to emotional maturity issues, but I’m not going to be “gentle” and “loving” when a man keeps forgetting an anniversary or continuing to cross a boundary that is objectively wrong. I also understand that men are not the primary care giver but a man who gets pissed if you ask for help with the kids, is a man who has no empathy or respect for his partner. I’m no doctor, but I say “when someone shows you who they are, believe them.” I’m not taking them for no damn cat scan. LOL

Ever since Adam blamed Eve for his choice to eat the apple And because in every culture on Earth, women do the bulk of child rearing. So if a kid turns out bad, the therapist asks "Tell me about your relationship with your mother". Maybe mom had too many kids. Maybe dad was abusing her. Maybe she worked and daycare raised them. None of that seems to matter. They always blame the mom

@@kpf2014 well he did "eat the apple" and blame Eve. Although I believe the original sin was lust. Because if you look at the language, originally it said the serpent "BEGUILED" Eve. And the meaning of beguiled is a sexual one, meaning she was seduced But he wasn't a serpent until after, as part of his punishment. During the seduction, he was God's smartest and most beautiful angel. And it took decades for him to finally seduce her. Think about a kid who snuck a cookie before dinner. Did you eat a cookie? No, they claim, while covering their mouth, because that's where the evidence of their crime was. But Adam and Eve covered their genitals. Not their mouths

A lot of the depression women deal with isn’t because our brains are just more emotional. It’s because the world is genuinely a much more dangerous place for us, plus there are so many more unrealistic expectations and responsibilities placed on us in this society. When I spent some time living the way we were meant to live, I was not depressed. If I took time to make a list about everything women have to think about from day to day this would be the longest KZfaq comment ever.

I had an active life eating clean and was hospitalized 7 days longer than expected for 3 major abdominal surgeries I had all at once due to an accident. I had to go to an inpatient rehabilitation facility (nursing home) for 2 months afterward. I'm glad you brought up certain foods as being inflammatory. I gained 25 lbs while there post-op and had no choice of what I could eat once I left the hospital and went there. I am still battling the documented nutrition deficiencies and the weight I put on there. Everyone complained of the food. It was mostly highly processed simple carbohydrates and very little protein or fresh foods and this was considered one of the better rehab/ nursing home facilities. So many patients were suffering from inflammation related and dietary related issues there. If they were lucky, they got to see the nursing home's doctor and were issued a highly processed protein supplement. One of the staff members actually told me to get out of there if I wanted to live. I was in a wheelchair, came home to home care, and now I'm walking again and in outpatient physical therapy on my way to getting my health and life back after a bad car accident. I wish someone would address such facilities but when you're in your 40s and have been inpatient, you realize they aren't in the business of keeping people alive and thriving. We also feel overburdened, lacking energy & yet we still pour passion into people. Very early into the video, my first question becomes: Are these brain differences by nature, or are they designed by socialisation? Are we training our children to behave and function in these ways due to societal expectations and demands we place on them based on gender? Can we improve the outcomes of all genders by changing how we raise kids?

If these conclusions are based on scans done at an Amen clinic, wouldn't they be done on people who are there because they are already having trouble in their life that led them there? That would mean these observations are skewed and not a random crosssection of the population.

I also recently started taking algal calcium (Now Foods brand), boron (also Now Foods), and strontium citrate (Nutricost brand), which continue to improve my depression. I don't each much dairy, and have a lot of stress that demands more vitamin C. I hope and pray you continue to feel better; depression is a pit and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Now, we've learned so much more about sugar and diet, but at the time my son needed to succeed socially and academicly. Now, as a menopausal 55 year old, looking after my parents in their 80's, this information is AGAIN so helpful to me. Thank you Lisa and Dr. Amen!!!

When it started it was of women achieveing great things; breaking barriers; inventing things; launching and running successful businesses. Now it's super focused on romance, when women have much much much brighter and varied lives outside of their romantic dealings with men.

@@deb.m.7458 I never said those things weren't a part of life. My question is why has the channel changed focus from highlighting the exceptional achievements of women globally, into men men men, dating dating dating. It's an insidious change in direction. And I'm curious as to whether that was the original plan, or this is what we see when a channel starts pandering to what women have been conditioned to focus on in a patriarchal system. In the earlier days she features so many female CEOs and record breakers and I loved to see it because we as women are so starved of that content. But nowadays the videos on this channel are typically a variation of how to keep a man. It feels like a regression. My opinion anyways.

I suspect diet, sleep, avoiding all alcohol, sugar, processed foods, forgiveness, Jesus. Really at the end of the day, most will never have the opportunity to do hyperbaric O2 treatments or expensive supplements or detox retreats, but there are things we can do. This would be a really great topic to explore for someone in this field! Also, yes, EMF's are huge, as well as vaccines. This seems to be a taboo subject among leading wellness influencers, but its a massive deal too. Blessings!

I would love to know more about the couple he helped with the husband working in furniture and smelling fumes. My ex husband and I had a difficult time when we moved and had many stressors on our marriage. He became obsessed with collecting vintage motorcycles, Vespas, etc and spent all his free time in the garage that he outfitted into a workshop, using gasoline and string chemicals to strip things - and he would also keep the garage shut to keep bugs out so the ventilation was bad and a friend even commented on it. His behavior became even more violent, aggressive and unreasonable. He had other issues besides this but this period led to a catastrophic change that affected our business and family and it became so abusive I divorced him.

Also, this is the worst part, none of us exist in a bubble….. The quality of one’s mate choices impacts hormone levels! All of this means nothing until we study the hormone profiles of family units or couples to examine the effects we have on one another. You only need look at the research into the effects of cortisol on the endocrine system. Autoimmune disease, cancer, chronic illness. The impact of ACE scores on health etc. I would suggest that before advising women to go on hormones or any long term pharmaceutical treatments, to really understand the possible cause of the imbalance.

I’m getting so much ick from this guy it’s not even funny. Yes there are anatomical and hormonal differences. But how much of this is due to socialization because there is neuroplasticity so the neurons that fire together wire together. These anatomical neurological differences may be the reflection of years of social conditioning to be responsible and conscientious and take on the mental load of the family. If men put this on women and then say well it’s based on anatomical differences and you should just have hormonal replacement therapy to be less of a nag….say what?

Fear and big egos also drives those to hold in feelings which in return only makes things worse. A mans feelings that are in tune or in balance usually know how to love. Weak vibration controls the ego, speech, thoughts, and emotions in negative ways. Basic term would be he is not mature and needs to work on these as a whole in order to love himself and his partner.
