He will never make us do anything because He desires for us to CHOOSE an intimate relationship with Him. He wants us to follow Him, obey Him but its up to us to make that choice. When we give way for Him to work in us, He makes us new beings that WILL go through ups and downs BUT in the end we will be stronger! Also when we decide to give up or we feel like giving up, that is not God prompting us; that is the enemy. So, if you ever think its best to throw in the towel on anything in life that is your choice and definitely not God's desire for you. Meanwhile enemy is cheering you on to stop trying in life because he wants you to fail. He doesnt care about you. BUT God does- SO MUCH! The Lord would never tell us to give up.
